Wow , Just wow , i am amazed at the quality of this product , I have a Focus st it had a straight pipe exhaust on, on 3000 rpm it had 100+ db , after installing this muffler it has dropped down to 68db ! and no power loss whatsoever . It is a very quiet muffler , if you need something more aggressive borla has other options , Thanks to borla team , I am proud That i am a Borla muffler owner , i will always use their products from now on

BORLA PRO XS review: I initially put two Carven R mufflers on my custom 1981 corvette. It was crazy loud! It was so loud that it was hard for me to gauge how fast I was accelerating when on the gas hard. Even just cruising through my neighborhood, it sounds like I’m flooring it! Too loud. So after several online searches and reading others review I decided to try the Borla Pro XS. I bought two ( dual). Omg here’s the biggest difference. It’s a tad bit quieter but because it has such a DEEP DEEP grizzly bear tone it takes away all the crackling sound from my camshaft which makes the overall muffler sound very nice, tolerable, and more pleasant to drive, and gauge my acceleration when hard on the gas pedal. It’s perfect for being very aggressive without upsetting your neighbors. And by the way my neighbors is a cop! I recommend this muffler to anyone who’s a true restomod enthusiast that still appreciates that muscle car sound but is also respectful of your neighbors too.

I put this muffler on a Ram 1500 limited , wanted a little more growl without being obnoxious. This is perfect , love to hear it bark when I get on it , and love the quiet when I’m just cruising. Couldn’t be happier, zero drone. Took a couple months to really mature the sound of it, but it is exactly what I wanted when I purchased it.

Borla muffler was highly recommended, instant change in performance and sounds fantastic.

Purchased this for my 2019 RAM 1500 Pentastar V6. Alot of people said not to put a muffler on a V6, but I went ahead and did it anyways! I do love the sound, but for my taste it is a bit loud during soft acceleration. If factory noise is a 2 and straight pipes are 10, I'd rate this at a 6. I could see myself removing it down the road since I'm not 17 anymore, but I do like it. Nice mellow sound on start up, nice burble when idling, real mean at WOT. DO check the muffler itself for factory defects before you install it. After it was welded on the techs noticed it was leaking, they looked where the neck meets the body and there was a hole in the factory weld. It was too late to take it off and return it; waiting to hear back from Borla about their Quality Control and "Million Mile Warranty". 5 stars if it wasn't for the shoddy craftsmanship.

Beautiful muffler. No scratches out of the packaging. Came with a sticker. My application: 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 lt ext cab 5.3l 6.5ft bed. Cut off the barbeque grill stock muffler right before it. Stock muffler exhaust pipe size was 3" OD before the muffler, 2.75" OD after the muffler. I put a 1ft 3" OD pipe after the muffler and a 3" down turn all before the rear axle. Beautiful set up imo. Stock muffler sounded like a car, with the proxs it sounds like a nice truck. I fell in love with the growl it makes at lower rpm like cruising at 20-25mph and you slightly hit the accelerator it sounds like a big mean dog growling. Now when you hit it off the line, it's pretty loud. It will get some looks, but it's definitely not obnoxious. Just sounds like a badass truck. The cold start is a bit loud. My friend that was in the army said it sounds like a helicopter with the low bassy womp womp womp womp. It's warm idle is pretty quiet but you can still hear it with the windows down at a stop light. Absolutely no drone on the highway both windows up or down but you can still hear the exhaust. You hear it for sure when you hit it to pass but still no drone. I've put about 800 miles on it so far and it's gotten a bit louder, but not much. It's a joy. So if you are looking for a muffler that is louder than stock, but not super loud like most exhausts, this is a great choice. Borla makes low bass sounding mufflers that sound mean and for the price are the best deal you can find.

This Borla muffler outshines my old Flowmaster on my 95 Chevy K1500 Silverado 350 engine. It is quieter than the flowmaster, however I think in time it will open up a little. In my first city/highway drive it actually seems to run smoother than before and maybe with crossed fingers a tad better mileage and power. Time will only tell! The sound is really nice and not annoying. This is our third Borla purchase as our first two are on our 73 C10 350 that has headers with 3” out to the dual Borlas and surprisingly it is much quieter than we thought. Sounds truly awesome. If you want more noise pick a different version but this style is great. They look so nice and our hopes is they last for many years to come. We have more Chevy trucks in the family that will be needing exhaust coming up and Borla will be our go to brand!

It's good real sound of v8 , little drone in the cabine above 110km , not noisy while starting or in park

Sounds amazing! Not loud but very tight sound and when you get on it with my 5.7 hemi she sounds terrific

Para quien disfruta de un sonido grave pero nada escandaloso es una excelente opción. Reduce en tubería directa más menos un 40% del ruido y queda muy bien.

Nice low rumble and no drone on my 16 Silverado 5.3. kept the resonator and ditched the flapper.
