This was an item I had been looking out for awhile as I wanted to make my own bread flour as the store bought stuff has lots of chemical in it which my family and I are trying to get away from. It is nice it comes in a sealed bucket which is easy to open and use the product inside. The wheat berries are very clean and not much debris inside which is always good. Once you grind up the berries, it feels just like the flour you would buy. I also like the idea you can plant the berry seeds when the time is right to have it keep coming as you need to. The bucket is so easy to store in my pantry and I like that it has a long shelf life.

Hello, I wanted to write this review about the hard white and hard red wheat berries in the buckets because I was so nervous about how to store my wheat and was hesitant about purchasing them. I read these reviews and I still wasn't sure if I could open these buckets and close then back tightly. Well I was able to do it. The buckets have tabs on them. After you pull off the initial ring around the buckets, you lift up each tab and the the lid comes right off. To reseal it, replace the lid, use your body weight and lean over the bucket from the top to push each tab back down till you hear or feel a click. It is easy and the lids reseal tightly. I was also very pleased with how clean the wheat berries looked. I've had these for about three weeks now. I've made tasty bread, pizza, pancakes and cream of wheat so far. I am praying that this wheat will help me relieve my arm and leg pain. Someone testified that eating with whole wheat berries cured their pain. I will testify here if it happens for me. Already I don't have to use eye drops in my eyes anymore. I had to do that several times a day.and I have more energy. I'm so grateful. Oh well, I highly recommend buying these buckets for I can open and close the lids at will. Happy eating!!!

Great clean grain that performs well in baking. Good price and I like supporting the family farm aspect. I’ve also planted them in my garden and get great germination rates though the wheat berries I was able to harvest don’t perform as well in baking.

Not organic but I hear they only spray at the beginning of the season so it all wears off anyway. Family owned. Makes great bread and found no odd stuff in my contained, just wheat. Order received on time. Will buy again and again.
