We host an annual event where we serve ice cream. In previous years, I used buckets with ice, but the ice cream always melted. This year, I bought three of these containers, and they worked perfectly! They kept the ice cream firm and were just the right size for 3-gallon containers. I placed them in the freezer for a couple of days before using them, and even after over 4 hours at our outdoor event, the ice cream didn’t melt. Highly recommend!

I froze this item in my upright freezer 2 days before I planned on using it. I pulled it out on the day of use and put a 3 gallon vanilla ice cream tub in it. The container and tub were out on the table for 7+ hours in 90+ degree heat and the ice cream only slightly melted. Guests at the party were impressed with how the ice cream was staying frozen and the ice cream sundae bar was the hit of the party.

Disappointed!! I Purchased this Item on June 2nd 2025. I followe all instructions, Used it on A Hot Day my ice cream melted within one hour I figured maybe it was too hot. I attempted to used it today and my ice cream again melted within an hour. I was at an event. It was the worst thing that could’ve happened.! Watery mess! it is past my return date I will be contacting the seller. I would like a product that works and hopefully they will replace this Item because it obviously does not do its job. These ice cream bins are not cheap . I figured I’d pay the extra for a good product and ended up disappointed. Ordered this for a graduation party and it kept two 3 gallon ice cream tubs (One at a time of course) the perfect temperature for six straight hours. I'm very happy with the ease of use and storage and how easy the ice cream was to reach and serve. The unit needs to be frozen for 12 hours before using. That would be the only issue I could see some people having would be the room to store it in their freezer because it is large. I stored mine in an extra upright freezer and it worked beautifully.

I found that it wasn’t staying as cold as I would like so I put about 2 inches of water at the bottom then froze it and that works for keeping my dips cold for about 4/5 hours. Lid handle is a bit annoying to hold. Wish it was a loop or something.

I’ve used these at several catering events and they work great. Definitely need to freeze for 12 hours or more before use!

I love the look, but the ice at the top does melt. I have used these several times that's why I know. I kept them in the freezer 24 hours without anything inside. So keep in mind, the top layer at least 1/4 of the top layer will melt. That is indoors, can't imagine what will happen it we were outside.

This is for the commercial ice cream holder, wasn’t what I was looking for but definitely works good
