Does its job. Affordable, soothing. Slows down inflammation but needed to be used regularly. I use it after washing and drying my hair. It does not freeze my scalp or hair, no cast no greese just fresh tingling on the skin. ( my hair are very fine and thin with slight curl)

It leaves this nice cooling effect that last for awhile and the reason why the texture is gooey is because so that the product stays and last longer and that the ingredient used is oatmeal which is known to have properties to help heal the skin better. I even put Flexitol on my skin sometimes and it works amazingly, sometimes better than cortizone, for me anyway! Hope this works for you, wish I found it sooner! Edit 1: I recently put this on my mosquito bites, oh my--The itching stopped almost immediately, I swear my bite disappeared within a day or two too. Seriously, very overlooked product!! Love it! Edit 2: I also wanted to mention is be sure not to mix this with other products you use for hair or lotion, etc. You could be causing a chemical reaction that’ll burn your skin/scalp and not even know it. So be sure to be careful on that and that you apply it on clean hair (no shampoo or conditioner products in your hair, so it needs to be fully washed off) I find my scalp and skin heals well when mixed with natural oils like olive oil or coconut oil (just this coconut oil attracts mosquitos so only wear when at home) or any naturals that is good for the skin. This product is great.. I got an allergic reaction from some hair products, soo my scalp was burning, itching and just irritating.. once I applied this product it burned for about a minute, which I believe was it being absorb into the scalp, soon after, pure relief… no itching or irritation.. thank you soo much.. Last for a several hours.. will have to reapply..

Where do I start? First of all this is NOT A LIQUID like you would expect to come out of a squeeze bottle with an attached dropper. It is a very thick goopy substance that is impossible to get through your hair down to your skin. I made the mistake of squeezing a big blob onto my hair just before leaving the house to run errands and needless to say, after applying this stuff, I couldn’t go anywhere until I washed my hair … and the smell is soooo strong … it reeks of menthol. As far as helping the itch, it just burned like fire and I had to wash it out almost immediately.

I like this scalp remedy very much as it gives me psoriasis relief without leaving my hair and scalp feeling and looking dirty later on. It has an immediate minty, refreshing tingle which is very soothing. my only wish is that the dispense of the product is a little slower or less product coming out. Will purchase again!
