I washed and reused them but over time they always break, and replacing them all the time isn't environmentally responsible. I had looked for more permanent options before but couldn't find anything in the sea of results for disposables. A friend told me about camping sets like this (I'm not super outdoorsy so had no idea they existed) and I ordered 3 sets of these that very day. They are perfect! I've used them for every meal for a week now. They show no signs of wear, work just like regular metal utensils, and obviously much better for the environment. Best of all, they are super sturdy and won't break! I purchased 2 sets of utensils for emergency kits several years ago. This time I had the idea to use them for an upcoming family trip. We will be at a major theme park, eating several times a day and I thought it would be good for the environment to bring and use our own utensils. The order was filled and I received it promptly. There was a minor problem that I wrote to them about. One of the sets was missing the knife. Withing a few days I received another set in the mail. Completely unexpected as I didn't ask for a replacement. I'll definitely do business with them again. ### ⭐ Not as advertised, Cheap, Doubt they are really LExan *by A***N on Reviewed in the United States on January 30, 2020* These are not Lexan, or their quality has really gone downhill. There are pieces of plastic from outside the mold stuck to the utensils, sharp enough it could cut your mouth. They are also not hooked together with the metal loop as described and shown, they are zip tied together which means they won't stay together once you take them apart. Do not order these! These were meant for a Christmas gift but I couldn't use them as such because of their poor quality.
