Based on some other reviews I decided to leave the moisture absorbent gel pack in the back of the box to combat any excess moisture. Beyond the classy look and the convenience of the glass front these ShoeTrap boxes have a couple bonus features.1) They smell amazing. I love opening my closet to the smell of cedar.2) They are far deeper than needed for a pair of my shoes. If you've ever bought a designer pair of shoes you know they come with a bunch of extras. Travel bags, certificates of authenticity, extra heel taps, suede cleaning sponges and so on. Its great that I can put all those extra things out of sight behind the shoes keeping travel bags with the shoes they belong.
