Dragon Ball Super Part 5 (Episodes 53-65) Blu-ray

Really enjoyed this Daragonball Super Arc, there were fewer filler episodes. However even these filer episodes did move the story forward. There were plenty of action and fights. There were just a couple of bits I did not understand. Goku and Vegeta at full power of Blue were getting their butts kicked by Goku Black, yet Trunks many power levels below those two was the only one doing any damage or holding his own, or holding the line. Aside from that This season was great. Once again though I hate having the season finish in the middle of a fight. Though I think I am getting used to that as it did not bother me as much this season. Also on a personal note I as I am more of a Vegeta fan I was glad he got more time in this season, and more of the heroic spotlight place on him. This is a great season and makes me want the next season even more. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

This is a must for any dragon ball fan. Probably not as good as the dragon ball z series as this isn't as bloody. This focuses more on the comedy aspect which for some people they might enjoy but I prefer the old way the TV series captured the suspense.

DVD came fast, on time and undamaged. The series is incredible, just as good if not better than dragonball Z

Just watch it... if your considering buying this one, you’ve more than likely watched the previous episodes. If not, go buy series 1!

Whole family love all the dragon ball series , really enjoying the ‘super’ series . Can’t wait for the next instalment !!

Arrived on time and in pristine condition despite being wrapped in what looks like a folded sheet of cardboard the saga itself like all dB Blu-ray’s fall just short of the conclusion to the storyline likely to encourage you to buy the next one the season itself is pretty decent the antagonist gets a lot of hate but zamasu and Goku black have a pretty elaborate plan and it for once focuses on power hungry gods instead of random homicidal alien overlords the story is trunks Bulma and vegetas son returns from his alternate future reality yet again with news that his earth has been all but destroyed by a strange new villain that looks exactly like Goku as he reconnects with old friends and get everyone scolded by their god friends for using time travel in the first place but they still pursue the lead with lord Beerus to the world of the 10th universe we’re yet another supreme kai resides and meet his highly suspect apprentice who seems to resent the gods for putting up with humanity however this seems to be a dead end and they travel to trunks alternate future to face the new Goku Goku black its a fun story but as I’m watching them from the blu rays I’m yet to see how it ends but from the cover of blu day six I could make a guess anyway the future versions of characters are very interesting mostly yonjerobi and future Gohan for all the screen time they get a little week especially after they teased the survival tournament and after a not bad roster of bad guys in the universe 6 contest but it’s at worst a classic case of dragon ball stretching stuff out we’re 8 episodes probably could’ve sufficed I like the characters and the reveals the setting and arbitrary nature of it all it’s actually more akin to Dbz than people admit

Love dragon ball super is a must watch if a fan

This dvd of Dragonball Super has the most fighting of any of the previous episodes for the series thus far. The Lord Beerus saga and Frieza saga didn't really cut it for me. Part Five was very exciting because it had a lot of twists and turns for the plotline as well as fighting. I wanted to know what happened after each episode that I watched. The other three sagas of Dragonball Super took their time unraveling the story and fighting so I ended up taking my time to. BUt not with this one. I highly recommend this item to anyone who doesn't mind martial arts fighint with twists and turns at every end.

Als großer Dragonball fan von der ersten Stunde an, konnte ich mir DB Super natürlich nicht entgehen lassen. Da ich die Folgen in Blu-Ray und in Englisch gucken wollte, musste ich mich etwas gedulden bis diese Teile nach und nach auf Amazon angeboten wurden. Es wurde von Part zu Part immer besser und die "alten" Dragonball Momente wurden immer häufiger. Part 5 war mega und war unglaublich traurig, als ich alles durchgeschaut habe, vorallem nach dem Cliffhanger. Bitte so schnell wie möglich die nächsten Parts releasen!!!!

To start I didn't expect to like super much when I first listened to it, especially when in japanese in subs the characters sounded like they were idiots when fighting(basically they were saying da da da da da nonstop in a ridiculous way) However in the english dub everything is better in my opinion. The animation, voice acting, and story around this dvd story line saga are top notch. Basically the story makes you hate the villains, especially goku black, while making you want to see more of them cause there so well put together and developed as characters. The best part? When goku black gets beat up, every time that happens it's just great to watch. That just shows how despicable he is lol. I recommend you guys give this series a chance, there are definitly filler and dumb parts in the whole series, but once it gets to the good stuff its pretty cool. Definitely recommended.
