Review: I bought this sugar as it’s an ingredient in a carrot cake I wanted to make. The sugar arrived soft and moist just like brown sugar I get at the grocery store but the flavor was not at all like common brown sugar. The cake has a wonderful rich flavor that I’ve never had before in my carrot cakes. I’ll definitely buy it again. P.S. The recipe can be found in the October 2021 issue of Food Network Magazine, called “Masala-Chai Carrot Cake.” Delish!

A: I used it as it was specifically called for in a chocolate fudge cake. The substitute for it was brown sugar but then you wouldn't get the caramel flavour
