Or do they give you** A: Absolutely yes man, it happens. I went through 2 bissell spot cleaners in less than a few months because of this exact issue. I run a mobile auto detailing business and have to deal with tough stains. First time bissell support sent me a brand new unit because there is no replacement piece which was cool, but it broke again same place within another month or two. Not lucky enough to get a third I now went to try the nearest vacuum repair shop 42 miles from my house that they tried to tell me to go to the first time. Vacuum shop said they couldn’t fix it or if they did it would just break shortly after again. Long explanation short, if you are worried about the handle breaking where the hose meets, yes it happens often I have watched numerous videos now recounting the same thing. I love bissell and own so many of their products but this one falls short. **Q: The water containers seem hard to empty out fully - not well designed. Is anyone having problems with that?** A: Yes! I was absolutely having issues emptying the dirty water tank. You can remove the plastic tank from the machine. There was a video that showed how to remove a section of that tank in order to open it up fully. I can't post the link here, but I hope this description helps. Take the dirty water tank off the machine. Then take the purple handle and move it up and over the tank. It will stick at the top and will look like it cannot go further, however, keep pressing gently but firmly and the handle will "give" slightly to allow it to go well over the top fo the tank, in almost a 180 degree change from where it was before. Now you can scoop your fingers under the top section and lift it off. You can see where the plastic looks like it will separate. Once separated, you can set the tank in the sink and clean both sides freely. I was afraid to push it over the top since it naturally stops there, but it does go over. **Q: What is the difference between Bissell 2458 and 3624 spot cleaning machines?** A: According to manufacturer specs I've seen on Amazon and other sites, they're the same thing with different tools and cleaning solution. Same amps for engine (5.7), same H20 capacity (96 oz), looks like the same hose length (5' for both, though one site I saw said 2458 is 4', while another I saw said 3624 is 4', so definitely check this yourself out if it matters to you). A few external reviews say the 2458 has very slightly better suction, but I'm guessing it's because they tested its standard attachment (about 3" tool) against the 3624 standard attachment (about 6" tool)-- smaller aperture hence better suction. It appears that the 3624 comes with an additional tool similar or the same as the 2458 standard tool. The 2458 model includes the tool that isolates whatever you're cleaning up to keep it from getting in the machine. Bissell says that for each 2458 sold they donate $10 or some such. Judging from the pricing I'm seeing, they're getting that back by charging more for the pet model. But the prices fluctuate. I caved and bought the 2458 because my kitty has been vomiting a lot and the 3624 is temporarily out of stock. I'm paying a good bit more to get the stains up asap, but I'm intrigued by the attachment and we want our rug back. **Q: Is there a way to clean the brush head from gunk stuck in it?** A: Yes, try suctioning up a small amount of water from a bowl to clean the brush head and hose of any debris or dirt.
