The pressure switch works great as well as the standard push button and seems durable so far. I have dropped it a couple of time and had bumped into walls a good amount and it still works great. I would buy it again.*Edit*After some use and wear and tear doing room clearing and some close combat, I have found that the pressure switch is not of the best quality and the plug portion of the switch does not always make consistent contact unless you twist it around a bit. However, I still recommend this light and actually bought another.
