Very nice scooter and commuter for college use.
My daughter didn’t want to bring her bike to college and wanted a scooter. This one seems to fit the bill. We got it yesterday and tested it. It was near 100% charge out of the box. It was well packaged and took a photo. Box was slightly dinged up but no damage to the scooter. Out of the box, it was bigger than expected. It feels solid and nearly fully assembled. Only need to put 4 screws and ready to go. Came with a tool too but the tip of the tool had a burr or ding and didn’t engage on the hex bolt. No biggie, I have tools. Assembly time was just a few minutes. 5 minutes out of the box. App downloaded quickly. Road test. My daughter is about 5’8” and 120 lbs. she has ridden “manual” scooters before. So we started on the ECO mode. Was too slow for her. Went to the D mode and was a little faster. S mode was the fastest. She got up to 19 mph quickly. The brakes are strong to grip she said. She likes the S mode and use the throttle to adjust speed to her liking. My turn… I’m 5’11” and about 192 lbs. I started with the S mode. The ride feels smooth and comfortable. Bumps on the road we absorbed by the front and rear shocks. Cruising at 15-16 mph is fun. I topped at 19 mph and I wanted more speed. Overall… it’s a good quality and fun to ride especially at this price. It’s perfect for my daughter starting college. It’s light enough for her to bring up stairs and down. As for me, if I get one, I would probably get the 500w motor. If the supplier is listening… I would love to demo the heck out of it… hint hint 😁. Now I hope the durability and quality over time is good. I hope it’ll last at least a full year in college if not more.

exceeds expectations, highly recommend
I've had the MAXSHOT Electric Scooter for a few weeks now, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. From the initial impression, the quality of build was impressive, sturdy frame, nicely balanced deck, and that double suspension really proves its value when riding on rough pavement. Smooth ride even over bumps, and those big tires grip the road nicely for a solid, safe ride. Performance-wise, the motor is over-capable for urban commuting, smoothly reaching 19mph and coping with small hills without any trouble. Battery life is similarly impressive, I consistently get around 23 miles out of each charge, and the 4-hour recharge time is perfect for overnight or lunchtime charging. I also enjoy the smart app control. Bluetooth pairing enables me to lock the scooter, turn on the headlight, switch between riding modes, and even set a personal speed limit. The LED screen is legible in any light, showing speed, battery, and cruise control. The fold-and-carry design is great for storing or hiding in my car trunk, and the dual braking system responds well and feels safe. Overall, this scooter has exceeded my expectations as a performer, in terms of comfort, and convenience. Highly recommend for commuting or leisurely rides!

Before you get one, design is flawed
Well, the bike worked till it didn't. I have had it 2 months now and everything was fine until I skidded on the side of the bike and went down. The bike had very little damage, turns on but no acceleration or juice to make it move. The battery is fine and such but keep getting an E7 error now. I have replaced the throttle cable, checked out the motor cables to make sure it's connected and the battery. All is connected but the maker of the scooter decided to coat everything in glue, very dumb idea. So extremely hard to check anything and possibly ruin something else just trying to remove the glue. Great scooter but I would not recommended buying it since now I am stuck with a brick. Everywhere locally I call, it cost more to look at it than the cost of the scooter. Why make it this poorly designed? Not smart. Tried to contact the maker with no success at all. Just the run around. Warranty, sure. Right. Good luck, never buying this again. And an update, seller sent me the wrong replacement part after trying to fix it myself with parts online and again, didn't work. I asked for a refund, will see. Manufacturing these days has just disappeared when it comes to quality and lasting a longtime. Update**** I have tried now 3 times for them to send me the right parts to fix the "throttle" issue and once again, they keep sending me the wrong parts. DON'T BUY this BIKE, I mean, what trash! And AMAZON, you should be ashamed, costumer service didn't help me at all and can't get my money bike! Just garbage all around! Thanks for zero.
