Er liegt zwar in einer Preisklasse von 80 - 100 EUR und gehört somit schon zu den etwas teureren Vertretern, ist das Geld aber meiner Meinung nach durchaus wert. Geschmacklich ist der Dalmore schon eine Wucht.Gelagert in White Oak Bourbon Fässern, nachgereift in First Fill Apostoles Sherry Fässern der Bodega Gonzalez Byass, hat dieser Whisky ungemein aromatische und komplexe Aromen entwickelt.Nase: Kräftiger Sherry und rote reife Früchte. Süßer Biskuit mit Mandeln und Schokolade. Winterliche Gewürze.Geschmack: Toffee, Kaffee und Mandeln. Fruchtige Noten von reifen Schwarzkirschen, Rosinen und Pflaumen.Abgang: Lang, süß und komplex. Kräftige, reife dunkle Kirschen treffen auf Butterspekulatius und Ahornsirup.Der Dalmore Luceo ist definitiv für Sherry-Fans ein echter Gaumenschmaus. Auf Grund seiner Süße, Gewürzen und Schwere ist er zwar eher ein Whisky für die Herbst- und Winterzeit aber dafür auch einer, auf den man sich immer wieder freut.Wem der Dalmore dann doch etwas zu teuer sein sollte, der bekommt mit dem 10jährigen Edradour Sherry Cask Finish einen in etwa vergleichbaren Whisky, der aber mit einem Preis von 40 - 45 EUR deutlich günstiger zu haben ist. Der Edradour ist allerdings nicht so wuchtig und intensiv wie der Dalmore.Wer aber auch gerne bereit ist, ein paar EUR mehr in einen guten Sherry Cask Whisky zu investieren, der sollte sich mal mit dem Port Charlotte OLC 01 2010 (rauchig) oder dem Edradour SFTC 2011/2021 (nicht rauchig) auseinander setzen.
