I’m loving watching ‘Doctor Finlay’  and the Scottish countryside, but most of all I really like the fact it’s set in the late 1940’s when the National Health Service was just starting.

It was terrific to be able to watch this most enjoyable series again.  Clear dialogue, good story lines and a refreshing look at life without the all-too-familiar current trends of  foul language not to mention  political and environmental issues being inserted into programmes.
