I was a bit surprised at how much they weigh [heavy for their size]. I like the side mounting as opposed to bottom mount wheels. I made a workbench out of one of those heavy duty plastic leg kit I ordered from Amazon. I've seen comments on that product's Amazon listing that these can't be used on those plastic leg kits but I disagree. I merely cut pieces of 2x4s about 4" long to mount on the inside of the plastic legs and drove the mounting screws for these wheels through the plastic legs into the wood. The wheels themselves are mechanically solid and work well. So these wheels can be adapted to slightly different workbench set-ups.
