To my surprise the replacement bag I received was far better than the first. In the pictures you can see the original bag and its compression sacks on the left and the new bag on the right. The only thing keeping this new sleeping bag from five stars at this point is the zipper. It is very thin metal and I don't think it will last. However, the downfalls of the original bag that caused the initial break of the first bag have been remedied. The differences between the two bags is clearly visible but in detail they are as follows: 1-The fist bag was a slick material (see original review) which detracted from practicality. The replacement feels more substantial and while it doesn't have a grip from the pattern that would be preferable it is significantly less slick. 2-The biggest problem of the original bag was the zipper and the inevitable bunching from the thin material; this combination made a broken zipper almost a guarantee. You can see in the new bag that has been fixed with the addition of a substantial material guard sewn in. It keeps a separation between the thin material and the zipper itself. Unfortunately, as mentioned above, the zipper is still a very thin metal. It will certainly do better than the original with the material divider but that thin metal pull is a worry, we'll see in time. 3-My favorite part of the original bag was the compression sack. It is better still on the new set. You can see the material matches on the exterior bag so the new sack has the more substantial and less slick material to match the sleeping bag. The straps are also much thicker so they don't slip after cinching things down, very nice. 4- Big surprise here was the black inner bag. You can see from the picture by the wrinkles just how much thicker and just how much better this bag is made. If this new bag is any indication of their quality control upping their game based on reviews I would say they are on the right track for sure.The sacks are nice and the bag compresses nicely but the zipper broke with the first use and the inside texture is so slick that if you're on any kind of slope you will definitely slide around. I got this bag for a hammock sleeping option. Obviously with the broken zipper and slippery surface that is not an option. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sleeping bag is waterproof *by L***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on May 10, 2019* I was impressed with the fact that it was easy to get back into the compression sack.I was in the rain one night and never got wet.The next morning the sleeping bag dried out as it was prepared for rolling, allowing me to roll it up and store it without fear of mildew.It is lightweight and easy to travel with.However, though the nights were not cooler than 45 degrees F, I would not have been warm enough without sleeping in heavy pants, several layers of upper garments and booty covered shoes. All within the sleeping bag.A radiant barrier type material incorporated into the sleeping bag material would help this.I also had radiant barrier padding under the sleeping bag.Finally, the color. I know it sounds trivial, but I do not like green or blue colors. I chose the green as it was the best of the three choices. I would prefer red.Even tan, camouflage or orange would be better than blue! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Not luxury but does the job *by N***Y on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 17, 2019* This is not the softest or most comfortable sleeping bag I've ever owned, but it is lightweight, comfortable enough, and kept me snug all night.I haven't tested it in any dramatic temperatures yet, but living out in Southern Cali, I really just needed a product that could keep me warm on a chilly desert night out or, on the opposite hand, be light enough not to roast me on any sweaty summer nights. I think this one will be able to handle both.I enjoy the built-in phone pouch, and the color of the sleeping bag matches my tent perfectly. I am 5ft petite, and the bag feels like a massive, cozy cocoon.
