BA15D led bulb 120V Double Bayonet base 5 Watt Warm White 3000K for Sewing Machine Lamp, Non-dimmable (Pack of 4)

Great bulbs, dimensions were exactly as given, and they fit great, We used them for kitchen lighting over our counter, replacing 50W halogen bulbs w/ something more efficient and that won't make the fixture get so warm. We used these because they had the right base, and fit the tight internal dimensions of the fixtures. These bulbs provide flicker-free lighting over our kitchen island. Our only negative was they are not as bright as the 50W halogens they replaced, but being 5W LEDs, they're probably equivalent to 40W incandescents - so I can't really complain. We're happy!

The title says it all. These were fine replacements for my Singer 66-16 bulb (which is a shorter bulb) and also fit my newer Viking 6030 - which also has the bayonet style base but a longer bulb. Really like the warm, bright light AND it running cooler than an incandescent bulb.

Description says color temp is 3000K (halogen bulbs are 2900K) and I agree these bulbs are just a very small touch whiter than the halogen bulbs. Really have to compare closely to see the difference. Unsure about longevity as I just installed, hopefully bulb life is as stated in the description. In any case, we're going to replace our halogen bulbs with these as the halogens burn out. Installation easier than a halogen as you don't have to worry about a fingerprint on the bulb causing a bulb to break when on, just plug it in. My original order was for enough bulbs to replace all the T-type halogens and have a couple of spares. I've reordered another group to have more spares, happy with these so far.

Had trouble replacing the bulb in Pfaff sewing machine. The contacts on the bulb were too long to insert into place. I needed to file off the contacts a small amount to match Pfaff bulb to insert bulb into socket, works fine and makes a great lite to sew by. I have serviced sewing machines for 60 years and I will continue to use this bulb for replacement It makes a great replacement, brighter light and does not get hot to burn you hands while sewing. I recommend this bulb for sewing.

Worked great on sewing machine - much brighter and cooler, too! Will also use on vacuums when necessary. Like the 3000K variety.

These little LED light bulbs work so well in my machine. The light on my machine is in the verticle position and it is therefore important that there be a diode on the very end of the bulb so there is light shining down. These bulbs have that feature and light my sewing area very well. I also have a machine with the bulb in the horizontal position and the light is wonderful there also. I had purchased one LED bulb at a big box store and paid almost the same price for it as I did for 4 of these. That bulb did not have the diode on the end and did not provide adequate light for me to sew. I will definitely purchase these again when I need new bulbs!

I replaced 5- 50 watt halogen bulbs (250 watts) with these 5 watt Led Warm White bulbs (25 watts) and they are a perfect light quality repacement. My application is a 5 light bathroom vanity bar light. I disliked the halogen lights not only twice as expensive, 10 times the wattage, but so extremely "hot" the heat would warm up the bathroom and most halogens require a glass protective cover to cover the bulb, a possible fire hazzard. Really like the new led bulbs!
