Despite many efforts to foil our dog's attempts to stay out of the cat box, she kept finding ways to break in. Putting this gate in a section of our upstairs hall has finally done the trick. It's easy to install, we didn't even use the wall cups and it holds the tension perfectly. When installing as soon as you tighten the tension rods the gate door will align into place. It's very easy to open and close the gate and it's tall enough our husky mix can't jump over it but the cats can easily get through. We've tried quite a few other gates and she could get around many of them but not this one.Of note our hall was about 38 inches wide and with the extender this gate fit it well and still functions. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dog Gate *by K***R on March 7, 2025* This is a sturdy dog gate. I like the fact of the lower door where the cat can go in and out. It’s easy to install and equally easy to take down if needed.
