I have been using the Apple pen on my iPad Pro, but the problem with that pen is once the nib is worn out, they do no offer replacements for the plastic part. Decided to give this one a try, and the price was good enough for me to order two (I move around a lot and love having a spare).I always use my pen when on my iPad—-no grimy finger marks! It seems to hold its charge fairly long, and I am a heavy user; I make art on my ipad, so I need a good bit of juice.An aspect that I really appreciate is the fine nib, great for drawing! (Adding a photo so you can see what can be done) It’s small and sturdy and I can really control it well when I am working on Artistic pieces. The best surprise that I had is that even if the pen is completely out of charge, you can still use the mesh end of the pen on your device. It makes your usage smooth and easy....whoosh.....soft and quiet.The clip on the side is not my favorite aspect. I don’t clip pens anywhere, and it can be a bit annoying against my hand when I am focused on drawing. I’d have to break it if I wanted it off the device.All in all, a great little pen that I feel good about recommending.I’m including one of my images, created with the pen, for an example of what can be done with this nice little pen. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Battery last 10 minutes after 3 weeks of use. See Update below ! *by D***. on October 4, 2018* The Stylus worked great when it first arrived. Now a few weeks later the battery will last about 10 minutes even after hours of charging. We have tried other cables thinking it could be the cable. The light comes on red when the charger is plugged in, then just goes out in a few minutes, it never changes color to indicate a full charge. Only getting about 10 minutes of use after a full charge. We liked the stylus and the way it operates, but the battery life is now an issue. Not sure if we will go for a replacement or go with a different unit. If things change I will update this reviewUpdate: Gouler contacted me and offered to send me a replacement to check out. I am raising this rating to 4 Stars for now. I will update this review after I have used it at least a month. I have to say their customer service is top notch !! ### ⭐ Face palm. Wish I would’ve shelled out the extra $60 for the name brand pencil... *by C***0 on February 9, 2019* I didn’t really want to pay a hundred bucks for the Apple Pencil so I researched and researched and finally decided on this pencil/stylus. Unfortunately, it’s a fail. The lag is SO great while writing with it that it wastes so much time while I’m writing notes in class. Lecture moves quickly and I can’t miss what’s being said just because my letters won’t properly form. Terrible. However the stylus works well. I like the mesh stylus, which I noticed others did too. I had a rubber stylus before and it wasn’t slick on the screen so it would get “caught” as I was writing. I can actually WRITE better using the stylus side rather than the “pen” side. But it still lags some. I have seen an Apple Pencil be put to use in person and that thing writes like a pen on paper. So smooth. I just don’t like how long it is. I do like the size of this pen. And I really like the grip for my fingers. And it’s a little thicker than the Apple pen, which I also liked. But I’m pretty ticked that I paid thirty something bucks for a stylus. Face palm. Would like to return it but I threw the box away and I’m not sure if they’ll take it back without the packaging.
