Tastes great, easy to carry, size is perfect, and depending on how bad you have heartburn, it can work immediately or it could take a few tablets to get rid of it! And yes, this is a lot cheaper on Amazon than it is in the stores! I price check everything before I bought it on Amazon! Plus it was highly recommended, by my dad, years ago.

They work exceptionally well- near immediate relief from heartburn. They feel almost foamy as you chew them, so be prepared for that if you’re using them for the first time.

I took this when I was a kid. It was the only med that instantly helped my stomach. So I tried it again for reflux and it helped. The cherry flavor isn’t tasty, but it’s tolerable and isn’t bitter like alka seltzer. It’s different from a typical antacid chewable. It feels like it coats my stomach rather than just getting stuck in my teeth. Very soothing. I also realized that quitting soda and pepperoni greatly helped my stomach. Dosage says 2 to 4 tablets but I just chew one and it’s enough. Take with at least half a cup of water to help build a barrier for reflux.

Works but man is that a bad flavor

Gaviscon is FAR better for me than the other name brand that rhymes with “sums,” lol! These are the best for nighttime reflux and heartburn. I chew 3 tablets if I’m having some annoying reflux just before bed, and right afterwards I take a SMALL sip or two of water and bam. I’m good for the night! The flavor isn’t terrible, either. I like them better than their “original” vanilla-y flavor. It masks the chalkiness a bit better, I think. I highly recommend Gaviscon; it’s a must-have in your medicine cabinet!

I take 1 before bed and maybe 1 after a large meal.
