Runs from iPad without needing external power on Akai pro MPK mini MK3
Purchased to use with an Akai profesional MPK mini Mark 3 connected to garage band for IOS on my Ipad Air 2. Contrary to what I was expecting (having to plug the charging lead for the iPad into the slot on this USB connector) It works perfectly without external power! Not sure if Akai have done a better job with reducing power consumption with the MK3 but just thought I'd let you all know what I found. Absolutely brilliant value with the bonus that the setup with garageband is completely portable with no mains power needed. Thanks, now go and enjoy making your music anyway You're welcome! Lol

Received Defective item
Item (adaptor for connecting a USB + lightning connector to a single lightning connector) isn't working. the same setup with a different adaptor (USB + USB-3 connector to a single USB-3) IS WORKING - waste of money.

Worked as a midi for ipad mini
This worked to connect a roland drum kit via midi. Recommended however, some have mentioned heating. It wasn't an issue for me but maybe because I didn't do large media file transfers etc.

Beware if using with hardrive!
If you are using an external hardrive beware! Find out what the power requirements for your hardrive are if it’s less than 0.5A (rarely is) then you’re okay. However if not like me I’m using a Samsung T7 ssd I’ve had to buy the Apple official adapter which is rated 3A. Seller should have made the 0.5A much clearer…

I bought this cable because my MacBook Pro is outdated and I can no longer email anything to get it onto another device! I have a newer iPad that I’ve been using, but I wanted a file from my old MacBook Pro and I used this Lightening to USB Camera Adapter to transfer the file over to my iPad and it worked! FYI I have an iPad 9th generation running OS 26.2. It is easy to use, compatible, portable, and has good connectivity that doesn’t drop off. I left the adapter plugged into my iPad for about an hour, and it never stopped working (the files were always visible when I tried to access them). When I was saving files, the process was quick with no problems. The price is excellent! For interested customers, I experimented and was able to import a pdf file, jpegs (photos), and a Pages document from a USB flash drive (the files were from my old MacBook Pro). I opened the Files App on the iPad and clicked on a rectangular icon next to “Recents” at the top of the screen. The name of my flash drive came up on the left side of the screen under “Locations” and then I opened the flash drive, selected the file I wanted to transfer to my iPad, and saved it to the Files App. I unplugged the Lightening to USB adapter and the files were all there! The trouble I had was figuring out HOW to do this on an iPad, so I looked it up online and found step by step directions. All the files could be opened and viewed on my iPad, and the Pages document looked the same (space between paragraphs, length, etc.) I was also able to reverse the process and copy a file from my iPad to the USB flash drive. This also worked perfectly. This Lightening to USB camera adapter is PERFECT for file saving to and from an iPad with a USB flash drive (and mine is an older, unknown brand). Highly recommend if you are using a flash drive!

لا يوجد استقرار في الصورة والصوت وعدم التوافق بينهم عند تشغيل الهاتف مع الشاشة واحتاج دائما الي إعادة الضبط حتى يعمل بطريقة جيدة وفي حال تشغيل موقع مباشر لايعمل ويتوقف الصورة والصوت
