smaller than would have liked, trashbag slides down, but doable for the space

Great for sorting out recyclable items. But a tad bit small. Could be 10-15% bigger on the trash side and the recyclable could stay the same side. Is as the 13gal trash bag only has 10gal volume. Aslo the stainless outer shell scratches slightly easy.

I purchased this dual compartment can to sort my recycling - glass/plastic on one side and cardboard/paper on the other side. I have it in the kitchen next to my Kohler trash can. The lids open easily using the foot pedals. I don’t use bags inside the recycling cans. I’m able to take out the inserts and carry them to the garage weekly to dump my recycling into the bins provided by my county.

This trash can looks nice, but it isn't very functional. It's next to impossible to get a trash bag secured into the can. As soon as you put the removable can inside the main can, the trash bag bunches up. This doesn't look very nice when the lid closes and the bag slides down into the inner can when you use it. You have to replace the bags more frequently due to the size too. When you pull the bag out, it's only half full. The recommended trash bags seem to have the same problem staying put too. I'd look elsewhere if you want a functional trash can.
