My new (to me) house had a bunch of old ademco heat sensors that I wasn’t using. I decided to make use of the old wires and replace the long-since expired sensors with new ones, and connect them to my home assistant + Konnect alarm system. I was a little concerned at first as my hair dryer test didn’t trigger the RoR, but I must have had something misconfigured or I wasn’t doing it close enough as two of them wired in parallel worked great, I plan on getting two more as well. Great solution for spaces where a traditional smoke detector would have issues (kitchens, garages, utility spaces, etc). My only gripe is this was clearly designed by men with zero design sense as it looks incredibly ugly and the color of the plastic don’t even match!

Received quickly, in OEM packaging (brand new) at a very aggressive price. Very happy. Have not installed yet, however.....

Liked the mount. Can flip it over for a more flush look if you want. Nice!
