Solestado Muffuletta Olive Salad 33.9oz

LOVE this olive medley. Great by its self,on a cracker or part of a cold cut sandwich. Coworker eats it on cottage cheese. Delightful flavor! Carefully packaged and delivered. Will order again and again

We love this salad. It is our favorite add on to tuna salad for sandwiches and we haven't found it in a store. They used to carry it at Costco and at HyVee. The sellers really packaged it well.

This olive mix is delicious! Use it as a sandwich spread or over pasta. I just received my second order today. It also makes a fantastic omelette with Swiss cheese, or whatever cheese you prefer.

Taste is authentic. No skimping on variety of veggies and olives. Have been buying this for years. Surprise the price went so high, but cheaper than a deli. I use this so many ways: in salads, as an olive tapanade, in pasta, on homemade pizza+++. That wonderful slightly bitter olive taste. Mmmmmm. And there is garlic! I crave anything that brings the familiar tastes of my Italian roots to my present Midwestern home. The seal did fail in once in shipping but I've not had it happen again. This is a quality product. You'll have people asking "what did you add to your salad? It's delizioso!!"

Jar was not sealed properly spilled all over the package and drained a good deal of the oil so that it was open the instructions say refrigerate after opening. Well I couldn’t do that cause I didn’t receive it unopened.

I cannot express how ecstatic I am to receive the Olive Salad Miffuletta thru Amazon, it is an amazing tasting product and can be used with so many foods! Now for the shipping…..this product comes in a glass jar and whomever wrapped you did a great job!!! No leaks, jar not cracked and lid sealed tight, Thank you so much!!

I really like this product. We use it all the time on sandwiches and in salads. It really adds a lot of zest to both. I think the quality is good and I like the large size of the jar which seems to last quite a long time. Overall, it's a regular buy for us and we always try to have a spare jar in the cupboard with one being used in the fridge. While I really like the product, I've had trouble with sellers on Amazon. On this last order I placed (for 4 jars) I got a package with only 1...no idea what happened to other 3. Amazon took care of the problem by giving me a refund, but note the reviews for the sellers of this product. They range from not terrible to incompetent. This last order was send by Empowerilla Savory Select and there was no way to reach them online. They don't even seem to be on Amazon anymore. Bottomline....great product....weak sellers. Thank goodness Amazong will step in and do the right thing.

ANOTHER UPDATE: Shipments continue to be perfect with zero leakage. Interestingly enough I tried 2 other brands as well and both had some level of leakage during shipment (but non-catastrophic). And neither tasted even remotely as good as Solestado. UPDATE: The last three shipments have been perfect. ZERO leakage at all. I am thrilled. I have this on subscription. If anything changes, I will update again. This is the best tasting muffuletta ever! Of course, it comes from Greece where they know olives (and it has kalamatas). What I like the most about this is the mix of vegetables used and the fact that the olives do the flavoring....not icky vinegar. I can go through a jar a month. BUT getting it to my house is the problem. The lids on the jars must back off during shipping...and I am not just suggesting it is an Amazon shipping problem. My bet is that the back off starts with shipping vibrations while the product is still on pallets being shipped to the US. It only makes sense since it doesn't seem vacuum sealed and there is no heat shrink ring to hold the lid in place. So by the time Amazon ships it to my house (not right side up on a pallet) the olive oil leaks out all over the packaging and the product ends up undeliverable...I never get it. Once it came perfectly, no leakage. Once it leaked but the delivery company left it on my doorstep anyway (THANK GOODNESS!). But my other 3 orders have not be delivered. I honestly don't care if it leaks...I drain off the olive oil for the most part as I use it anyway. But no other muffuletta offers this magnificent flavor. I will continue to try ordering and will update this review as soon as the shipping problem is resolved
