It has adequate air vents in the top, but the holes aren’t too large to let small bugs escape. The lid also screws off for easy cleaning. The furniture inside is attached and super cute as the bugs can lounge on it. The clear plastic that surrounds it is not as thick as I’d like as it does dent if pushed on too hard.
