It's of great quality and looks super nice. I am a college student and the size was perfect for me: it totally fits my MacBook Pro 13" (2017), as well as A4 files and papers. I like backpacks not being to bulky and, in the end, if you have less space you won't put as many unnecessary things inside.Another thing to note is that it's kind of waterproof. Last weekend I went out with no umbrella and a very heavy hail started. I walked for about 20 minutes under it. Everything inside remained dry, although some water can get through the zipper's little holes, which is why I did put some fabric around it.As everyone always says, the zipper is a little bit tricky, but I have had the backpack for a few weeks now and it has got a lot smoother, plus you learn how to make it work. The only things I think should improve are the leather laces on the zipper, as I keep thinking they will fall off because they constantly slip. She also uses it for hiking, biking, and for day outings to museums and theme parks; (in other words for anything that doesn't require a full size bag or luggage. She is able to fit her wallet, a camera, journal, some art supplies (in an art box), small sketch pad, an iPad, an iPod and, a 12 oz sized water bottle. She is also able to squeeze in a lightweight cardigan. For these purposes it works perfectly.It is not a regular full sized backpack and does not fit laptops or mac books. We have not had any problems with the zipper sticking. I only wish the backpack straps were padded, to give some shoulder relief when carrying heavy items.Overall it is made with durable high quality materials and I highly recommend it for middle-schoolers and teens for all outings that does not require a full size backpack. The zipper is a bit stiff, but I think that will go away with more use. Although it was a tight fit, I can squeeze in my 13” 2018 Retina display MacBook Air and a fat (2.5 inch thick) law book. This required some manuervering though. I basically had to put it diagonally instead of directly against the back part of the backpack. Without the protective sleeve it fits just fine. I do wish it was a tad bit bigger.
