These tast so good, I replace the for breakfast. But you can replace them for any meal,tast like a vanilla shake. Great for diabetics.

My favorite flavor has always been vanilla. I assumed when I purchased these vanilla shakes they would b extensible, but surprisingly decent. It’s fairly thick so it serves its purpose. They really don’t advise totally missing meals, however if you have no time, it’s a decent substitute. Yes, it has the usual protein and other necessary supplements. I tried it last week. I was in a hurry to go to drs. appointment and decided to try it. To my surprise I was not that hungry after drinking it. I’m not saying that it will always work for everyone, however you will be consuming protein and other supplements so it is healthier than just fasting or totally missing an entire meal. All I can say is Glucerna has really done its homework to provide a healthy supplement. As the saying goes. “Try it you may like it”

Dr. suggested to my husband that he get some as they were better for him than others

I have used both the chocolate and the vanilla. I prefer the chocolate but the vanilla is good. These help with hunger pangs and with my sweet tooth.
