Lovely creamy pencils , colours you do not normally find , I used these ALongside some deeper and brighter colours from a faber castell set I have , no problem blending and lovely end result, Also tried using them on there own with the deepest tone alongside the palest and great result there , pencils a pleasure to use and great quality not broken any yet, would buy this brand again and will try other pencils from there collections .

Gorgeous set of pencils - I got this set to go along with my pasteltint set as an extension. The colours are absolutely beautiful. A large selection of muted tones of greys, purples, blues, green and brownish hues. The tips are smooth since they're wax based and they blend beautifully. I have used many brands before and I just use what I like and castle arts always make lovely pencils that I'm always excited to try. I love the Packaging, it's a nice solid tin and it comes with a few different leaflets on techniques for anyone who would find that helpful. It would make a lovely set for someone who loves to draw. I would definitely recommend this as an add on not as a beginner set because as a standalone set it's not going to have the range of colours for everything.

Exceptional colour pallette, as the tin says they are truly harmonious pencils, they blend beautifully when I create colour gradients, I found they were soft enoughand easy to use which was nice. I havbt had any breakages when sharpening them either, overall I think the price point was good for the set.

These are beautiful, and a great collection of shades and hues in a similar colour palette. I found them to be great for particular projects but obviously would need to pick up other sets if I needed anything out of the grays, purples, blues and pinks that are included in the set. There are multiple shades that are very similar which can be a pro or con for some, for me I see multiple pencils that I won't have use for so that's a downside for me. My only criticism is that the nibs are so soft that they cracked under too much pressure, and ive only just tested them on the swatch paper. For the price, lovely and a brilliant beginner safe option, not enough variety and too soft for heavy handed artists like myself.

A very stunning set of pencils,beautifully packaged with colour charts & information booklets. The colours & tones are gorgeous. Blendability is fantastic. Definitely a must have set.

They arrived very quickly, the colours are very muted which works well for layering, they are soft so works well for what I like to do in my colouring.

This was a birthday gift for my sister. She loves them. The unique colour palette almost makes up for them being far too expensive. Wouldn't purchase or recommend them, only because of the price, not the quality
