Ninebot GT3

The Segway GT3, also known as the SuperScooter GT3, is a premium electric scooter designed for commuting, urban riding, and light adventure use. It balances solid performance, comfort, smart features, and build quality at a price around 1500 to 1700 dollars depending on deals and region. It sits in Segway’s performance oriented lineup, less extreme than the higher speed GT3 Pro but more capable than entry level commuters. Key specifications include a 1200 watt nominal and 2400 watt peak rear hub motor for strong acceleration and hill climbing up to around 30 percent incline. Top speed reaches about 31 miles per hour consistently in real world use. Range goes up to 45 miles in Eco mode or around 25 miles in Sport or Race modes depending on rider weight, terrain, and speed. The 899 watt hour battery charges in about 5.5 hours. Dual hydraulic suspension smooths bumps while 11 inch self sealing tubeless pneumatic tires provide stability and puncture resistance. The scooter weighs around 87 pounds with a payload up to 330 pounds. It features IPX6 water resistance, a color TFT display, app integration with navigation and anti theft tools including AirLock proximity unlock and Apple Find My support, turn signals, traction control, and bright lighting. The GT3 delivers smooth confident power with quick acceleration suitable for city traffic and moderate hills. It feels planted and stable at speed thanks to the large tires, suspension, and weight. Ride quality stands out as comfortable for longer commutes with less fatigue than stiffer scooters. Handling is responsive with good traction even in light rain or on imperfect roads. Braking is reliable with strong controlled stops. Real world use suits daily commuting of 10 to 30 miles round trip or weekend rides. It handles light trails or gravel well though it is not a hardcore off roader. Smart features like traction control and adaptive lighting add safety. Strengths include a comfortable and refined ride with excellent suspension and tires for the class. It offers strong range and power ideal for most commuters along with quick charging. Premium build and features shine through app connectivity, security options, lighting, and durability. Safety focus comes via turn signals, bright lights, traction control, and certifications. It provides strong value as a feature packed option at this price point. Weaknesses center on the weight of 87 pounds which makes carrying upstairs or using public transport challenging when folded. Top speed is capped at 31 miles per hour which suits streets but lacks the hyper performance of the GT3 Pro. Some variants use mechanical discs which work well but hydraulic options feel preferable to some riders. Occasional software quirks include conservative limits like power cuts on big bumps or parking mode behaviors. This scooter suits urban commuters or riders seeking a comfortable feature rich option for 10 to 40 mile daily use without constant charging. It appeals if you value ride quality, safety tech, and reliability over raw top speed or minimal weight. It is not the best for frequent stair carrying or extreme off roading. Overall the Segway GT3 is a well rounded premium scooter that prioritizes refinement, comfort, and smart features over outright speed. Reviews praise its polished performance, build quality, and real world usability making it a strong contender in the 1000 to 2000 dollar range. Test ride if possible as weight and feel are personal. Check local regulations on speed and power. It is available directly from Segway or major retailers. If more speed is needed consider the Pro variant.

Scooter is very convenient for injury when youbcant walk far distances. Very helpful very well balanced and comfortable when riding. Power really dropped off when you drain the battery to 25% or less. Donse t take very long to charge Wish it had a built in camera

5.0 out of 5 stars - Thrilled with My Segway GT3 - A Game-Changer for Daily Rides! I've been eyeing a high-performance electric scooter for months to upgrade my commute and weekend adventures, and the Segway SuperScooter GT3 absolutely delivered! Right out of the box, the build quality blew me away—it's solid, with that alloy steel frame feeling premium and durable, weighing in at 87 lbs but folding up nicely for storage. The 2400W peak motor gives it serious punch; I hit 31 mph effortlessly on flat roads, and the acceleration (0-30 mph in about 9.5 seconds) is smooth and exhilarating without feeling sketchy. Even on 30% inclines, it powers through like a champ. The dual hydraulic suspension is a standout—front double shocks and rear trailing-arm setup soak up bumps and potholes on city streets, making rides comfortable even over rough pavement. Those 11-inch self-sealing tires are genius; I've already rolled over some debris without a hitch, thanks to the puncture-resistant layer. Range-wise, I'm getting close to the advertised 45 miles in mixed Eco and Sport modes (I'm about 280 lbs), and the flash charging is quick—full in under 6 hours, or a 1-hour top-up for extra miles when I'm in a rush. Smart features are icing on the cake: the 2.4-inch TFT display is bright and intuitive, showing speed, battery, and even navigation alerts. Bluetooth auto-unlock via the app is super convenient, and integration with Apple Find My gives me peace of mind against theft. It's UL 2272/2271 certified, so safety isn't an afterthought—brakes are responsive hydraulic discs, and the stability system (SegRide™ with TCS) keeps things steady at higher speeds or in turns. Overall, I'm ecstatic with this purchase—it's fun, reliable, and turns heads everywhere. Worth every penny at $1,699.99! I'll update this review after a month of heavy use to report on long-term battery life and any wear, but so far, it's exceeding expectations. - Boaz

Works great, does what I wanted it to do.

This is my third scooter in a couple of weeks - haha. Started out getting a smaller one for $100 that was on sale - fun, easy to carry - takes you around the block. I have it in the trunk of the car. Then I got a g2 max since I have some hills in the area. Now I was hooked. Nice scooter but not quite powerful enough for my 190 pounds up the hills so I attempted to return this one for the GT3. Long story short, I ended up keeping the g2. Great for friends and my older kids to go with me. The GT3 is just perfect for my needs. This thing is quality. Heavy but very stable and I feel safe being a bit older. Very comfortable ride and has the extra power when needed. Im hooked. Got the Segway mirror for it. Should have been included. My wife keeps asking if I really need 3 scooters. Probably not :)
