Junk... broken junk. I bought two of these, neither one worked. I put new batteries in the controller, swapped controller, tried different strips.... NOTHING! JUNK! So I bought a different variation of this product, same listing page, same seller... again I bought two neither of them worked!!! No combination of the 4 controller with new batteries would work on any of the 3 strips that I had. One of the strips was only 2 feet long! PURE JUNK!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON THIS WORTHLESS GARBAGE! Now I'm having to return all 4 broken pieces of junk!

My kid seems to like the lights controller works fine

I lost the attachment that connects the wireless box to the led light strips. I saw a review that mentioned they wouldn't work as that...but they did work for me! I have the led light strips under my power wheelchair. I rarely get out but once at a concert I was about plowed over by the sea of drunk folks...the led lights light up the bottom of my chair so folks can see an obstacle. I lost the connector bouncing around rolling in the backyard grass and didn't want to purchase and install new strips. I took a chance on this item. As one reviewer stated they are FALSELY ADVERTISED. It states and shows a picture that it is 5-24v but it only says 5v on the item. I included a photo. That knocked it to 4 stars. The adhesion category rating I gave a 2 since it doesn't technically have adhesion strips but the pins fall out often so beware of losing the adaptor.

Had to purchase, as a separate RGB light strip did not come with a remote/USB attachment (besides the point). For the $, it was well worth it. The remote does need to be aimed directly at the receiver, and needs to be within ~10ft., but responds quickly, and accurately. Also, the 3M adhesive did start to peel minutely, but that could just as well be the pourous nature of the wood I stuck it to. All in all, would buy again.

Got it to replace a similar controller after the pins broke off. I've been using the LED strip as an ambient lighting strip for my TV. Unfortunately this model keeps causing overcurrent warnings on my TV's USB port, causing it to immediate shut down all USB ports. I can't get it to work on Smooth or Fade mode, because it keeps trying to push the brightness too high. Even trying to change the brightness doesn't work, because it only seems to control the speed of the transition. I'm stuck using Flash mode on it. So... ehhn.. Kind of irritating.

I can't understand why there are so many negative reviews on these RGB controllers. They are identical to ones that come with the complete kit of lights! I have a string of LED lights that I have had for around 3 or 4 years. The controller on that set had finally given up the ghost, but I know the LED's are fine (I attached a controller from a different set of lights to test, and the lights worked perfectly). As I still needed the controller I had temporarily attached on a different set of lights, it meant I needed a new controller. So, I looked on here for one that specifically says "Peak Output Current: 3x4A" which matched my existing now dead controller. This one is a 3x4A controller! When I received it, I plugged it in and the lights instantly worked! I would guess that all the people complaining about only getting red LED's illuminating have not checked the output of their existing controller against this one as the red LED's require the lowest voltage to illuminate. If they had bought a controller of the correct power output, they would have had their lights working correctly! It's not this manufacturers fault that a customer buys the incorrect item!

I needed a new remote control for my pc rgb lighting ....this one looked almost identical ( minus the fan button ) . it worked !

RGB's almost can't turn on and the controller can only do the color red

Not bad. Basic, but sold unit. I am using these to make good use out of all the LED strip lighting.
