this does NOT clean or polish any metal i have such as copper pan bottoms, etc. you will still need to clean with water and cleanser and then polish. i was looking for a copper version of silver cloths. this isnt one. the return rules are kinda dicey as well. heres one that got past me prior to purchase.....

wish it was a little smaller. i am using this on my copper jewelry. it's important to keep it in a sealed, air tight bag so it won't dry out.

I guess I will stay with paste or liquid brass/copper cleaner. This produc my be OK for pieces that are not very tarnished

Have no idea why it doesn't work on my copper. I think the only way to actually clean and shine it is to purchase the grainy paste product.

I had just purchased a hand made copper bracelet from an artist at our State Art Festival and after just a few times wearing it, saw how dull and oxidized it was becoming. Some people like that tarnished look but, I wanted the shiny copper. The cloth put it back to its luster that I had purchased it for in the first place. I was looking for a copper cleaning cloth for an antique copper piece. It did not mention in the description that you have to wash and rinse it thoroughly afterwards as I can't and this was a waste of money for me
