Just the right mix of ports for me
My computer set up is a real miss-mash. My desktop is old and was built for my specifications at that time, but works perfectly, it just lacks ports, especially USBs. I have two printers, one for printing and one as a scanner and don’t forget the USB music speaker because my monitor doesn’t have sound. I also have a USB lava lamp, but no USB to plug it into. Hence, when I saw this 9 in 1 USB multiport adaptor, I could see my future being re-arranged. I chose this model because it has the right number of USB 3s, some USB 2s which are prefect for my printers, cards slots so I can easily send data to and from my phone and camera (sending data to my phone is very difficult before today). I’m also thinking of upgrading the monitor, so the addition of an HDMI is wonderful; the rear of my computer doesn’t offer this option. The top motivator for me was the addition of a USB C, which will get plenty of use. I looked at a variety of models when this one popped up and met my needs – many of the other models available for less money missed one or two of the essentials. Needless to say, it arrived earlier today and by tonight everything is running smoothly and my USB lava lamp is back in action.

Lots of ports, works well and solid construction
This is a solid little hub, it is made of metal and rather than being chunky it is wider, which I like as it sits much more flush in my desk. On the edge is a HDMI port (though this will only work if your PC supports USB-C to HDMI out) on the right hand side 2 USB 2.0 ports and 3 USB 3.0 ports and on the left hand side one Micro SD and one SD card slot. All labelled correctly on the top so you can see at a glance which port is which. The USB-C connector is attached and while the connector is longer than some I have used it still is quite short, for example if you have your laptop on a stand that is quite high up it may dangle down but it is much better than a lot of others I have used. It all works as it should, connects straight away and is recognised by my PC and away you go, no issues and no problems. A very good little unit that has no issues and a very good build quality.

A Decent Little Multiport Hub That Does What It's Designed For
This Acodot hub expands a full-function USB-C / Thunderbolt 3 / Thunderbolt 4 port of a laptop into 9 ports. These 9 ports are: 1 x HDMI 4K@60HZ 3 x USB 3.0 2 x USB 2.0 1 x USB-C 100W PD (Power Delivery) Charging Port 1 x TF (Micro SD) Card Slot 1 x SD Card Slot. The hub's outer shell is made of aluminium alloy - a good design feature, as this material is an excellent conductor, so it effectively dissipates heat generated by internal components, thereby making the device less likely to overheat and suffer damage. Aluminium is also extremely lightweight yet strong - more reasons why it's an ideal choice for the outer shell. This Acodot product is a decent little hub that does what it's designed for and does it well. Additionally, it's light, tough, compact and easily portable. No criticisms.

Too similar to too many other hubs and no WOW factor to recommend it
This review is for the USB C Hub, Acodot 9 in 1 USB C to 4K@60HZ HDMI Multiport Adapter, 3 USB 3.0 Ports, SD/TF Card Reader, 100W PD, USB C Hub Multiport Adapter Desigend for MacBook Pro Air HP XPS and Other Type C Devices Currently unavailable at the time of review (but I think it was around £40). This hub has a very short lead and is obviously more aimed at the laptop end of the market rather than a desktop. It has an aluminium shell which helps to dissipate any heat and the ports are well formed and tight. The PD slot is handy if you only have one USB C port. I can’t test the PD port, but one of the illustrations has me concerned. My understanding is that you can connect a 100W PSU to the PD port of this hub and plug the USB C lead into your laptop and it will charge it up to 100W depending. Or the laptop will charge something out of the PD port at up to 100W. One of the illustrations shows a PSU connected to the hub and the hub connected to a laptop, but it also shows a lead from one of the USB 3 ports connected to a phone with the legend PD100W standing alongside the cables. Arrows also show the power flow direction into the hub and out to the laptop and the phone. USB 3 cannot deliver 100W and isn’t designed to do that either, so what is this telling us? The photograph also isn’t correct as the position of the ports and shape of the hub don’t match the real life hub. This is a decent enough hub if you only have one USB C port and it certainly does the job, but its original price of £40 is far too high and the illustrations have me concerned about the veracity of the claims. 4 stars from me though as it is a decent enough even if too expensive.

Works perfectly, no issues
I have tried USB-C hubs before as I have a Macbook Air and it gets difficult to manage every cable with only 2 ports. Not to mention that most of my cables are not USB-C so this hub is very helpful and allows me to use my laptop as I want it to. It's of good quality - previous USB hubs were quite flimsy and the plugs broke when bent slightly. This one isn't and the plug seems sturdy. I mostly use the USB 3.0 and the HDMI function but all functions work perfectly. I was concerned with HDMI and whether it has any delay but it doesn't and it does not cut off at random times, like previous adaptors I've tried. Overall, I highly recommend this USB-C hub as it is definitely good value for money.

Very useful adapter, easy to use
This 9 in 1 USB C to 4K@60HZ HDMI multiport adapter works as expected with no any errors till now. It has 9 ports: (1x HDMI 4K@60HZ, 3x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0, 1x PD charging, 1x TF card slot, and 1x SD card slot). There is no any drivers or softwares required, just plug and you can start using. This adapter supports almost all USB-C (Type-C) devices and thunderbolt 3, and power delivery port supports up to 100W. It is great value for money device, really good quality, that's why I can easily recommend it to anyone.

I am very happy with this hub. I tested all the ports and they worked great. only two little things you need to be aware: 1- the HDMI needs to be forced a bit to fit, 2: the cord is too short and hard to manipulate. I am not taking a star just for that. I will update after the first 2 months and see how it goes. One more thing I want to add, the delivery company Intelcom Courrier Canada Inc is outstanding. faster than Canada Post.
