This head lamp is pretty bright and it serves its purpose of being able to illuminate the area around you but its extremely unreliable. First, one of the headlamps didnt turn on at all, it was completely useless. The second really big issue is that it doesnt have a lock out mode and it kept tyrning on while in my backpack no matter how i placed it.. so unless you want to be stranded with an uncharged headlamp because it was on for hours during the day, do NOT get this. Youre much better off spending a little more money on something that has a lockout feature

It doesn't really have its own battery as name tries to falsely imply. It requires 3 AAA batteries. Otherwise works as expected.

So far, so good. We shall see how long it lasts. I have another one like it I found at Goodwill and it's been through it. I prefer batteries since the USB version have limited duty-cycles on the battery and when you can put in your own, all you have to do is carry a few extra if your going out on trail in case the batteries get low. It's build is Okay, but as I said, I'll see how long it will put up with the eventual abuse it will go through with my primitive camping. I'd say it's every bit of 1300 LUX - very bright. I also use the red light to preserve my night vision. I'd like brighter colored lights but for the price it's about what you'd expect. Headband seems well made and durable but these are usually the first to go on you. I'll follow-up this review if anything falls apart.

Very handy. I keep one at the front door and one at the back door. Good quality.

Lampe frontal fonctionnant sur piles avec un très bon grades lumineux. Fonctionne a piles 3AAA seront suffisante par appareil. Le test de la durée d'éclairage n'est pas encore effectuée mais ça semble prometteur
