Harcourt Social Studies: Student Edition Grade 3 Our Communities 2010

My 3rd grader is using this text for his homeschooling Social Studies curriculum this year. Paired with the workbook we have a very comprehensive curriculum that my child and I are very pleased with.

We are homeschooling my special needs son. We have had trouble finding decent curriculum for him. This one is perfect! The pictures are very engaging. I do highly recommend to buy the workbook that goes along with it. Also other tip buy it used,as ours came in brand new condition. I'm very pleased.fayhillbooks delivered the text book extremely fast and it showed up in brand new condition(when it was labeled as used in like new condition). I was very pleased with the company we ordered from.

This is a great textbook. It arrived quickly and in near new condition (as described by the seller). The content is age-appropriate, and there are colorful pictures and illustations. FYI: The homework/practice book is harder to find for some reason. I do think a 3rd grader needs more activities than the textbook contains, so I recommend searching for the homework/practice book also.

I really love this book! Bright pictures, easy to read text, and age-appropriate handling of topics. Very pleased with this purchase and likely to buy Harcourt texts again next year.

Well written, well organized, contains nice color photographs and illustrations. The textbook is full of activities and assignments correlated with language arts standards in addition to social science standards. I love it!

Love it. I use this in my homeschool along with supplemental readings and videos.
