KEEN Women's Rose Sandal

Ultra comfortable, no walking in period. Wide toebox, slightly flexible sole, holds foot well in place, so perfect for my temperamental ankles and knees. Bought to replace an existing pair They look good as well. Sadly I don't think Keen do them any more so they were difficult to source

I was sceptical when I received these as they are so soft at the front. However, having just worn them everyday on holiday, I can say they were the most comfortable sandals I have worn. They are nice to look at, true to size 6.5 and comfortable from day one, my toes felt protected and the sole is robust. Great buy for me.

I bought these to take on holiday to Spain and Italy - we were going to do some walking routes and I needed something sturdy but cooler than walking boots. These sandals were excellent. They looked smart, were really comfy and the rubber soles could be rinsed easily to keep them fresh after a day's walking. I walked all over Barcelona and Rome in them, as well as following trails through the Pyrenees. The only problem I found was when my ankles got swollen in the heat when I wasn't moving about & the ankle strap got a little tight (the velcro helps to tighten the ankle strap but it doesn't come completely undone, so it can't be loosened off). Hence the 4 stars instead of 5. I liked: - closed toe style protected my toes well when walking on rough ground - rubber sole was easy to clean (so they don't get cheesy!) - looked smart - walked for miles in them with no rubbing or discomfort Disliked: - the elasticated ankle strap was a little too tight when my feet got swollen in the heat & couldn't be loosened

Simply the best footwear, let alone sandals, that I’ve ever bought. Comfortable, supportive and stylish. The covered toes prevent grit getting in and make my toes feel protected. I’m a tour guide and have a foot problem at the moment (Morton’s neuroma) and for the first time it never bothered me. Highly recommended and have bought a second pair in a different colour.

super sandals. crazy light and comfortable. i already have an old keen different model. this model is also very comfortable i want to buy more of these lol. i normally wear 37 but i buy 37.5 for more comfort which is 4.5UK sizing so if you are a size 4uk i suggest you get 4.5 on these.

It's a rather odd design choice to have a strap going over the top of the foot that can only be tightened. My feet are rather dainty, and I always need insoles, so I was really surprised that I could barely get the sandals on at all. That's not an exaggeration. I didn't think I'd manage at all. I've a high arch and although fine-boned, I just couldn't wear these. Shame as they seemed good. Quality would be a 5 star but fit is eccentric!

The sandals are an excellent colour and look very smart. They fit well and are very comfortable for walking, even in hot weather. I am pleased with my purchase.

Dies ist nun schon meine zweite KEEN Rose Sandale. Die erste habe ich mir vor drei Jahren gekauft. Der Plan war damals, sie vor allem im Sommer als leichte Sandale auf dem Fahrrad zu nutzen. Aber sie wurde sehr schnell meine Allzweck-Sandale für alle Outdoor-Aktivitäten: Auf meinem täglichen Weg zur Arbeit mit dem Fahrrad genauso wie bei kleinen Wanderungen, auch in etwas unwegsameren Terrain. Da sie rasch trocknet, kann man auch einmal ins Wasser damit, wenn man z.B. auf's SUP Board klettert. Da sie nicht nur bequem und praktisch ist, sondern auch noch gut aussieht, hat sie mich selbstverständlich auch in alle Urlaube begleitet, wo sie auch beim "Pflastertreten", sprich Stadtbesichtigungen bewährt hat. Einziges Manko hier: Bei hohen Temperaturen schwitzen meine Füße dann auch in dieser Sandale etwas. Mit dem Vorteil, dass sich die KEEN Rose Sandale abends waschen lässt und am nächsten Morgen wieder frisch und sauber zur Verfügung steht. Nach drei langen Sommern war es nun Zeit für eine neue Rose Sandale. Diesmal habe ich eine halbe Nummer größer, also mit 41 meine übliche Schuhgröße gewählt und finde, dass sie nun vor allem an der Zehenkappe besser sitzt. Bei meinem alten Modell hat eine meiner Zehen immer seitlich etwas "heraus gespitzt". Das ist jetzt nicht mehr der Fall, vor allem wohl auch, da KEEN offenbar die Zehenkappe etwas optimiert hat in der Zwischenzeit. Überhaupt die Zehenkappe: Ich kann gar nicht verstehen, wie es Trekkingsandalen ohne eine solche Kappe geben kann. Ich kann gar nicht zählen, wie oft mich diese Kappe vor bösen Zehenverletzungen geschützt hat! Die neue Sandale finde ich also vom Sitz und der Bequemlichkeit her noch besser als das alte Modell. Für alle, die einen "bewegten" Alltag haben und in der Freizeit gern draußen sportlich unterwegs sind, kann ich diese Sandale nur empfehlen.
