NOW Foods Supplements, Tri-Chromium™ 500 mcg with Cinnamon, Insulin Co-Factor*, 180 Veg Capsules

I take this as a dietary supplement to regulate my glucose levels. Works as advertised. This is my 3rd or 4th reorder

I was recently diagnosed with type II diabetes. Because of 6 day a week cardio workouts, cutting sugar out of my life, losing 40 pounds and a dose of Metformin, my A1C went from 7.2 to 5.6 in less than four months. A dietitian friend of mine suggested I try this product so I ordered it. I've been taking it for nearly one month with no side effects. I'm not craving carbs or sugar! Before starting this product I drank a couple of vodka drinks every evening before bed. Over the last month I've had two or three vodka drinks in total, alcohol just doesn't sound appealing. This wasn't what I was going for, but I love it. The money I will save from buying vodka will more than pay for my Tri-Chromium. I'm hoping at my next follow up my A1C will be within the normal level and my Doctor will let me quit the Metformin!

Very good supplement, easy to swallow

As someone well into their senior years who has had type 2 diabetes for many years besides my regular prescribed doctor’s medication for my medical issues, I also take several supplements to support my various medical conditions. When I saw this product on Amazon for a bargain price (Now Tri-Chromium 500 mcg, with cinnamon, insulin co-factor) I decided to purchase it. I was pleased with the quick delivery service. I am happy with my purchase at this time and look forward to adding this supplement to support my diabetes sugar level readings. I have taken chromium for years. I know when I have been off of it and start again. I could tell the difference When I started back on it with the product. I do recommend people look at you other supplements and don't "double: dose accidentally. If you are lacking in your multi, or are looking for this on its own. This is a GREAT product! Highly recommend.

With so many supplement suppliers out there, finding nutritional products/supplements can quickly become a daunting task if you don't know what to look for in a supplier and the products that they represent. However, I feel confident that NOW Foods is one of the best out there. I have used their products for quite some time, and have always received nothing but A+ rated products; all products that I have received have always been packaged with tamper-evident safety seals and clearly marked dates of expiration. On to the product review! This Tri-Chromium contains 3 types of chromium to assist the body to properly utilize proteins, fats, and carbs. The addition of cinnamon in this is a great natural way to promote a healthy metabolism, and get your metabolic rate the boost that it may need to get it up and going. Personally, I love this product, and have found that it really does work to assist me with my weight loss goals that I am setting for myself. The research of the effects of chromium on the body, and it's ability to help with weight management and metabolism has been studied for many years, and adding a supplement such as this can help when we are not getting the levels that we need from our over-processed diets. As always, the main reason that I love NOW Foods is that this product contains no sugar, salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, milk, egg, shellfish or preservatives, so it is very "user friendly," and you know what you are taking.

i dont usually leave comments but seeing that I made my decision on getting this based off others reviews ,I feel its only right to leave my review in Hope's of helping another. I'm a pre diabetic 28 years old , and from my own research and being proactive I bought a glucose meter and started monitoring I would always felt extremly thirsty and tired after certain meals (carbs) and even went to doctor to make sure I wasnt diabetic and the test came back that I wasn't but what most patients dont realize is that even though your test dont meet the mark for diabetes doesnt mean your not PRE diabetic (which is the first faze before getting to full blown diabetes), I did research and found tri chromium helps with blood sugar ,iv been taking it close to a week now and im very impressed to see I haven't had any blood sugar crashes it's been stable between the mid 80's to the mid 90's where as before I would be in 140 or higher, this is after high carb meals, now I dont have this issue another plus is that im no longer craving sweets (which is a major addiction for me)and im ironically not hungry as much now for some this may be a issue but for me someone that can stand to lose a few pounds this is a positive ,im very pleased with product i will continue to take it.

I definitely feel the burning people are talking about. It’s not horrible, but it’s a bit uncomfortable. I can’t take it because the pills in general make me nauseous & give me a headache. I took it for 3 days, I do think it helped curb the sugar cravings - but not enough to make me want to endure nausea every day.
