Works like a charm. My favorite features are easy to read and the alarm is loud enough to hear but not ear piercing. I love the alarm sounds and then shuts off, no incessant ringing or beeping. Simple product that works as it should.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality for the price point! The magnet is strong enough to securely stick to the stove vent hood, making it very convenient to turn the dial with one hand. The red field makes it easy to see how much time is left from across the room, and the bell is quite loud enough to hear in the next room. All in all, a great little mechanical timer!

Very good timers. Very easy to use. Have not had any problems with them and it has been a number of months. They are very accurate and have been very helpful for cooking and other activities. One of the best things about it is that you don't even need batteries you just wind it up and it works. Sound is nice and loud (you can hear it across the house). I recommend to anyone who needs a timer!

Works as it should. The magnet holds it securely. The “kickstand” is a nice plus. The bell volume is “enough”, but you may not hear it from the next room over, even in an open type space - particularly if there’s ambient noise. The best feature is the red “countdown” type dial - it can be seen, at a glance, from across the room - which makes it easier to gauge how much time is left. I haven’t had it long enough to gauge its durability - which is why it didn’t get that “5th star”.

This kitchen timer is of very good quality, and it's also small in size. Most importantly, it has a magnet on the back that can be used as a refrigerator magnet without taking up much space. Plus, it doesn't need batteries. All these features combined make it really thoughtful, and I love it!

I've had this timer for a couple weeks now. I bought it to help the kids keep track of time when doing school work or an activity. This item works well. Its very easy to use, the magnet is strong and I like that you could glance at it from a distance to get an idea of the time remaining. I have no complaints. Just beware that it does make a ticking sound as time passes that may be distracting to some people.

This was as described by the seller, was packaged extremely well, and arrived in a timely manner. While many reviews mentioned some negative comments, I thought I would give it a chance. I loved that the remaining time is show in red so at a glance I can see how much time remains. It is a solid unit and has a good weight to it. Happy there are not batteries involved. While I will continue to use it, I use the timer on my cell as a back up. It is does not make a loud sound when the time is up. You cannot not leave the kitchen, otherwise, you will not hear it unless you take it with you. The sound almost sounds muted, and it only rings for a tiny amount of time --- a couple of seconds. I guess you can say I am semi-pleased with it, but it does need improvement.

The little kickstand on the back makes this a lot more convenient than the ones with only the magnetic backing. I find these mechanical timers are a lot better than electronic versions for two reasons: 1. They have a nice bell that rings instead of that same shrill beep you hear on every microwave, stovetop, etc 2. The ringing stops on its own after a few seconds. Electronic ones will keep beeping forever until you manually stop them, which is kind of awful Just be sure to follow the directions and wind it up all the way to 60 and then BACK again to the time you want. When you turn it, you’re winding up the ringer as well as setting the time.
