Great Speakers. Build a whole house background music speaker system with these speakers. Great quality for that purpose. Would potentially buy better speakers if it was for an elaborate dolby atmost setup but for average listening you can't beat value for money.

# 仕様 16Ωの仕様でした(商品ページでは8Ωじゃなかったっけ) これはBOSEのシーリングスピーカーなどでも見られる仕様ですが、複数台を同系統に並列接続する場合に有効です (例: 3台接続→ 16Ω x 1/2 x 1/2 = 4Ω, アンプが4Ω対応なら方系統に3台まで並列接続が可能) # 音質/音量 ・音量 16Ωと言うこともあり、少々能率は低め。アンプの出力を少し高めのもので用意されてもいいかもしれません。BGMとしては十分な音量感を得られます。 ・音質 まず、背面を閉じた状態(天井につけた状態)と、机の上に置いた状態では全然変わります。当たり前ですが。 有名メーカー(BOSE/JBL/Tannoy/YAMAHA)製に比べ、同開口ならコーンサイズが大きく、出音の豊かさを期待していました。 そこそこの音量でドライブすると、かなり下から上まで鳴りますし、変に下も上も溜まらずフラットな印象です。中高域のトランジェント感もまずまずあり、価格供給安定性鑑みると、店舗やオフィスでは、まずこれで必要充分だと判断しました。 小音量時は、特に低音においてスピーカー裏に密閉された箱(エンクロージャ)が付いている有名メーカータイプが有利ですが、意外にサービスエリアは広く、私はこれで充分です。 見た目と同じく、「カーオーディオのアップグレード用スピーカー」のような特性です。いい意味で。 # 施工性/耐久性 施工性は楽ですが、正面のネジを回して、裏からボードを挟むパーツが簡単に割れてしまいます。電動工具使わないほうがいいです。 私は市販の金属のワッシャーを取り付けることで少し強化して使用しました。ここは少し工夫の欲しいところです。 耐久性は未評価ですが、エッジ部分の仕上げは劣化しやすいウレタンなどではなく、長持ちすることを期待しています。 # 総評 エンクロージャー無しタイプとしてはかなり鳴ります。コストや天袋の高さの制約があるけど、音質を諦めたくない場合に嬉しい選択でしょう。 国産箱無しタイプより俄然帯域は広いです。 私の用途にはハマりますので、今後も購入していくでしょう。ありがたい。 しかしその分、取り付け面の振動は大きく、コンパネならまだしも、石膏ボードでは少々心配です。 大音量で鳴らすなら、やはり箱ありタイプが理想ですね。

I added these speakers to my garage as part of a whole house audio distribution system as I did not feel the need to place particularly high fidelity speakers in the garage. I have much more expensive in-ceiling speakers located in almost every room in my home as well as for my 7.1 home theater. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the sound produced by these Pyle speakers given the very very reasonable price (at the time of review they were only ~ $39/pair for the 6 1/2” dia speakers). This was several times less than the cost of my other speaker pairs. Given the inherent limitations of in-ceiling speakers, these speakers perform nearly as well as my more expensive in-ceilings and is more than adequate to keep me entertained when I am working on projects in my garage. I coupled these with a Pyle impedance matching Decora style slider volume control and although bass is somewhat limited (as is expected with 6 1/2” in-ceiling speakers) the sound quality is very good with clear midrange and highs (and adequate bass) for my use case. The only problem that I encountered which was quickly resolved by Pyle, was with the warranty. These speakers come with a certificate that clearly states it is for a Lifetime Warranty. However, after scanning the QR code and registering the speakers, I received an email verification that I was receiving the “standard 3 year warranty”. After contacting Pyle (there is no customer service phone number and everything has to be done through email) and sending in the photograph of the certificate along with my invoice, the next day I received an email that I would be given the lifetime warranty but that I needed to keep the certificate available should I require warranty service. Kudos to Pyle for the quick response and for correcting the problem (although IMHO you should not have to go through the hassle as I used the QR code printed on the certificate itself 😂 and would have preferred to by able to speak to a rep directly, rather than waiting and hoping they would answer my email). My Pyle volume controller also can with a certificate that states that it came with a 5 year warranty. I am curious to see if the same thing happens and it gets reduced to a 3 year “standard” warranty 😝. At any rate, hopefully needing to utilize either warranty will not become necessary and this will be a moot point (my other in-ceiling speakers from a different company have been in constant use for over 25 years now and still work flawlessly).

We had installed speakers in 5 different locations in our home, except the master bath. With a little searching , these fit the need and were at a very good price. Ordered them, fast delivery , installed and rewarded with very good sound fed from a Yamaha receiver thru a Pyle 6 speaker splitter
