Review: Product was opened previously - The outer package was intact, the the intex company package was previously opened, looks like it is repacked , I am not sure the product is even original, product manual is missing Review: Great Inflatable For the Price and a Ton of Fun - Bought this boat on sale on a whim. I'm happy I did. It's a ton of fun. Boat inflates in about 10 minutes in my experience but I'm also pretty strong so maybe a bit longer for smaller people. Once inflated it's light and easy to lift to the water. I loaded my family, wife and 2 small kids, in with no problem. I also tested the boat with my 6'4", 320lbs brother and no issue (I'm 300lbs myself). I would assume the listed weight limit is legit. The only issue with the boat is fishing from it isn't comfortable as it comes. It's like fishing on a balloon. Online there are tons of options for tweaking, like adding a wooden floor, that would allow you to sit on a chair and be able to properly fish. I'm buying a motor so I don't have to use the awful oars either. They're good in an emergency but using them is a mission. The loops they sit in aren't strong enough to really drive into and get the boat moving. The button clip on the oar also bangs against the loop and, if you drive hard, pops through. It's really not a good experience. Putting it away isn't a big deal. Boat deflates quickly. There are videos online that show better ways of deflating. They work. It's like folding up a sleeping bag. Once air is entirely out you just pop into a Rubbermaid container and go. The bag it comes in ripped on first use so it's trash. Get a proper container or stronger bag. It's lots of fun. Grab one and see. I'll post photos once I make my modifications for fishing! ## Features - SUPER-STRONG – SuperStrong enhanced molecular formulation PVC provides superior strength and durability, ensuring high impact and abrasion resistance - DUAL BOSTON VALVES – Located on the side of the boat, the boston valves on two main hull chambers will provide easy quick inflation and fast deflation. - EXTRA STORAGE – Extra space in the bow and stern allows for storing any necessities for your pond or lake adventure; stainless steel D-rings also allow the safety and ease of tying down dry bags and gear - SPACIOUS – With an inflated size of 12' x 5'6" x 1'5" and a maximum weight capacity of 1300 pounds, the Excursion 5 is able to sit five adults comfortably - ADVENTURE ACCESSORIES – Intex 5 person inflatable boat includes two 54 inch boat oars, four detachable fishing rod holders, gear pouch, carry bag, high-output pump and a repair patch ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00CMBJ1VE | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #54,687 in Sports, Fitness & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports, Fitness & Outdoors ) #12 in Boats Inflatable Rafts | | Brand | Intex | | Brand Name | Intex | | Colour | Gray | | Country Of Origin | China | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 8,426 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00078257315024, 10078257315021 | | Item Dimensions L x W | 3.66L x 1.68W Meters | | Item Form | inflatable boat | | Item Highlight | 68325EP - Portable Boat with Extra Wide Cockpit and High-Ouput Hand Pump, 12ft x 5ft 6in | | Item Type Name | | 5-Person | | Item Weight | 55.62 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Intex Recreation Corp. | | Manufacturer Part Number | 68325EP | | Material | Polypropylene | | Material Type | Polypropylene | | Model Number | 68325EP | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Personal Flotation Device Type | Pool Float | | Product Dimensions | 3.66L x 1.68W Meters | | Size | 144" | | Sleeping Capacity | 5 | | Special Features | Adjustable | | UPC | 078257315024 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | | Weight Capacity Maximum | 1320 Pounds | | Whats In The Box1 - Whats In The Box3 | 5-Person Inflatable Boat Set With Aluminum Oars And High Output Air Pump, All-Around Grab Line, Gear Pouch, Intex Excursion 5, Repair Patch, Storage Duffel Bag, U.S. Coast Guard I.D | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Intex - **Colour:** Gray - **Material:** Polypropylene - **Product Dimensions:** 3.66L x 1.68W Meters - **Size:** 144" ## Images ![Excursion Inflatable Boat Series - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71TAORu-+VL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Can one person row the boat on his/her own?** A: Rowing unto itself is not easy... it is a learned and acquired skill. If you are not a rower it will be difficult. However if you're accustomed to rowing a rowboat in 3-foot waves with a 15 knot wind... Then any inflatable is extremely easy to row... yes this is the first time that you have ever rowed... it will be difficult. But even when it's difficult it is so much fun... after you have being on shore for 10 minutes recovered and looking back on what you've just accomplished. **Q: What's the dimension when you deflate it? How long it takes to inflate and deflate? Thanks!** A: The dimensions are what you can fold it to. The carry case is about 3 feet long and tall and maybe 1.5 ft thick. Pumping by hand, maybe 15 to 20 min. Electric pump about 5 min. **Q: Does the air pump come with the boat?** A: Yes. However, it is a hand pump. You may want to purchase a battery operated air pump. **Q: Es pegado o soldado?** A: old things can't be renewed. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Product was opened previously *by A***L on 13 November 2025* The outer package was intact, the the intex company package was previously opened, looks like it is repacked , I am not sure the product is even original, product manual is missing ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Inflatable For the Price and a Ton of Fun *by S***S on 19 November 2023* Bought this boat on sale on a whim.
