It is apparently an extra-long staple (ELS) cotton.It feels like polyester even though the tag says 100% cotton.I will wash it and see.Disappointed in being outright lied to. ### ⭐ No way 400 thread count *by J***Y on Reviewed in the United States on March 14, 2019* Was very disappointed in this pillow case. It was supposed to be 400 thread count, no way. It is rough and feels like regular cotton. Compared to our 400 thread count sheets and pillow cases, not even close.
