Super efficient cooktop
I first purchased the first ChangBERT induction cooker at Walmart. This time, when I saw this product on this platform, I couldn't resist buying the second one. I have been using this brand for over three years and I have always had full trust in it. Initially, the reason I liked the induction cooker was that it made cleaning up after use very convenient. When this cooker starts up, the heating is rapid. Combined with the correct cookware, high power output, and good insulation performance, its performance is extremely outstanding. When making a large pot of kimchi soup, after turning on the heating mode, the soup boils within a few seconds, and the surface bubbles evenly during the boiling process. After it's done, I especially like its precise temperature control function - as long as the temperature is set, it will never overheat. Additionally, I also appreciate that it has passed the NSF certification, which makes me feel even more at ease, especially when long-term cooking soups or stocks is involved, it can ensure safety and hygiene. Moreover, its body design is very compact, which is very suitable for daily use. After cooking, it can cool down quickly and then easily slide into the cabinet, not taking up too much space, and is very suitable for small kitchens. I'm very happy to have bought it, and the cost-performance ratio is very high!

Perfect anywhere in the kitchen
Iโve cooked on induction for years, and after moving, I needed a new unit that was durable and easy to place wherever Iโm working. This one has been great from day one. The build feels solid, it moves around the kitchen easily, and it doesnโt heat up the room or create smoke, exactly what I wanted. Heating performance is excellent. It gets hot fast and the temperature control is very accurate. I did notice is that the heating coil is real 8 inches as advertised. I brought a pot of vegetable soup to a boil in minutes, then lowered it to a gentle simmer and it held steady for hours without losing power. My old cooktop always dropped output during long cooks, but this one stays consistent. My wide braiser pan heats evenly across the whole bottom, and even a tall stockpot keeps a strong boil without babysitting. The fan stays quiet too, just a soft hum. For the price, this is a seriously good buy.

Great product
Well built, heated evenly. This was an upgrade from my old cooktop, and itโs been a great move. The difference showed right away. Heat control is super easy and accurate. Set it once and it stays right there. No jumping around, maintaining the temperature very well. I did notice the on-and-off cycling at first and thought it was unusual, but after checking with customer service, they explained itโs intentional in TEMP mode to prevent overheating and burning. After using it more, it actually makes sense and helps keep cooking more controlled. Very handy, intuitive response, and it runs quietly without being a distraction. The stainless steel build feels solid, performs exactly as advertised and definitely worth the extra cost.

Handy, but not as fast as our induction stove
We recently bought a house that has a gas stove, and we miss our induction stove. This is a handy unit to supplement the gas stove. We can place it wherever we want on countertops or our kitchen island. We love induction with our stainless steel pans (make sure that a magnet sticks to them), because it heats quickly, has instant turn-down, and the heat is focused completely on the bottom of the pan, nothing up the sides, and no waste heat to the room, and safer than the open flame with the gas stove - and no emissions! We chose this unit because the induction element is larger than most others, so it is more suitable for larger pots and pans. It boils water quickly, but because it's on a 15A 110V circuit, it isn't as fast as our 220V stove. Using it to can peaches right now. We may even take it RV camping!

Best Priced Induction Burner That ACTUALLY is fantastic!
I have had this for a few months now, and wanted to wait to write my review until I had logged some real-time use. This has made my kitchen time SOOOO much more productive! Has cut my cooking times in half by not having to wait forever for pans to get hot, especially cast iron or enamaled cast iron. Boiling ANYTHING now happens in a flash! It adjusts QUICKLY if I need more or less heat. The very large "burner" accomodates even heating in my 12 inch skillets easily. I do reccommend getting a cooking mat to keep pans from sliding around on the glass, as well as to protect the surface from spills and scratches - and makes for super fast clean up when doing fried items. If you are thinking of getting an induction burner, THIS is a very affordable and high quality item. - Having experienced this, I am considering getting an induction stove. There is a TINY learning curve as for dialing in temps - start lower than you would with a regular burner - medium to medium high is higher on induction than a conventional burner.

Sleek and great little unit
Very happy with my purchase, and it looks very sleek in my kitchen. I put it right on top of my glass top stove, and I leave it out all the time. I absolutely love the rectangle shape of this, way better than the round ones that I have had in the past! I also love the fact that it is not too tall. It really helps to not have a unit that looks clunky like the round ones do. I have been used to induction cooking in the past and so Iโm very familiar with how to cook with it. I knew that the temperature adjustment was in 20ยฐ increments when I bought it, but I have found with some items itโs difficult to keep it exactly where I want to have something simmer slowly. But that is not the fault of the unit. I just wish that it had 5ยฐ or 10ยฐ increments. But it functions really well, and it is very quiet. Super happy about that! Easy to use the button controls, and the pan heats up immediately so for those that are not used to induction that may be a learning curve for them. Overall, very happy with my purchase other than the fact of the 20ยฐ increment heat control.

Sturdy reliable consistent cooker that works for boiling all day
These were exactly as advertised and as I hoped they would be. Yes, the temperature read out is not accurate to the temperature of the liquid in the pot, but the instructions tell you why that is. I used a simple thermometer to measure the boil point and it was consistently between 210 and 220 degrees on the dial, with a unit temperature read out of 260 degrees. I wish the temperature could be adjusted in 5 degree increments but the unit works, is well built, and boils quickly. I like that the cooking surface is large too. I used these with a 5 gallon stock pots to evaporate maple sap and the unit kept temperature all day long without effort, and the power cord never became hot. They are surprisingly light weight which makes them easy to move.

Bought another one for outdoor cooking
Picked this up as an extra burner for our RV and honestly use it all the time now. The surrounding area stays super cool. Precise temperature control, maintaining the temperature perfectly. I can nail a medium-rare steak with nice crust, perfect inside. Stainless steel feels tough too. Doesnโt feel delicate at all, which is great for travel. Also really quiet. Even on high power, just a low hum. Solid little unit and totally worth it.

fast cooking with large heating area
Cooking has been a lot more enjoyable since I picked up this induction cooktop. The controls are straightforward, clear buttons with a good click, no complicated menus or touch panels that miss your tap. The display is bright and easy to read, even from across the counter, which makes cooking feel effortless. This cooktop works remarkably well. In HEAT mode, it heats fast, I can boil a full pot of water for soup in just in seconds or preheat a skillet for stir-frying almost instantly. The response time is immediate, you turn it up, and it gets hot right away. Also, the heating area is wide and truly uses its full 8-inch coil, as advertised, giving me even heat across my big pans. I also like that it gets up to temperature stays precise, Iโve used it to sear salmon, cook eggs, and simmer sauces, and every time, the heat stays perfectly consistent, all while running surprisingly quiet, just a soft fan sound in the background, nothing distracting. Itโs been a great little burner to cook on every day, and absolutely worth what I paid for it. Scott from Toronto,Ontario

Broad coil, quiet, great controls. Best countertop model I've owned.
I've been putting this induction cooktop thru its paces over the past few weeks. And it's almost perfect. It has a much broader coil than my 3 other induction cooktops, meaning that I can cook beautifully formed 10" pancakes on a 12" pan with no errors (my other 3 cooktops respond to a too-large pan with an "overheating" error). The heating is dynamic: Watching the bottom of a 10" pot shows a tight central heat in the first 30 seconds of heating (3" broad) to an at least 7" heat ring within 2 minutes. Making a white sauce in this same 10" pot, I have boiling right to the edges of the pan (at about 8 minutes). So it's easily the best broad, even heat. Plus it's VERY quiet. I can talk or listen to music uninterrupted by fan noise. Not like my other cooktops. Finally, the controls are excellent and intuitive. There is one small problem with this stove: its lowest heat is 200W, which is too much heat for some of my cooking routines (especially those that require simmering of a covered pot). For example, in pressure-cooking some dried chick peas today for 45 minutes, i had to turn the stove off for 10 minutes in the middle of this time, to allow the pressure to lower. For this stove to be perfect, it needs a 100W setting, too. But overall, this is easily the best countertop induction cooktop I've ever owned, or used. I wholeheartedly recommend it. Note added after even more use: the need for a lower temperature setting is easily resolved by switching from reporting W to reporting degrees. Once this has happened, I can turn the temperature way, way down (to 60C). A good simmer (for me) is 110C or 120C. So my one misgiving was already overcome. You just need to switch to temperature to get really low temperatures. The unit's perfect!!!!

CHANGBERT induction works great.
So far so good. Had it for a week and no complaints. It's whisper quiet and easy to use. Water books in an instant and it has been really handy.

Great Performance, well built
I need a cooktop for a family party, and I don't want to deal with smoke or grease buildup from a temporary gas setup, especially since kids will be around the table. I tried using my metal pan, but it barely heated. I reached out to customer service to ask about it, and they replied almost immediately, explaining that induction requires magnetic metal cookware. I switched to a cast-iron skillet, and it works perfectly - fast heating, even temperature, and the food cooks well. Love the two cooking modes, HEAT mode gets heating fast, great boiling, while TEMP mode keeps a steady simmer, sauces without boiling over. Switching between them only takes a tap, simple to use. It can fit my 7-quart stewing pot and 12-inch stir pan. It is impressively fast and totally worth the price.

Been Using This Brand for Over 2 Years
The first one I bought was for my small restaurant, where it was running almost every day from morning until night. Even with that kind of heavy daily use, itโs still working great today, which honestly says a lot about the build quality. So when they released a newer model last year, I picked up another one for home use. We use it a lot during the winter for hot pot, steaming. The control panel is intuitive and easy to use, and compared to some other induction cooktops Iโve owned before, this one heats frozen food back up noticeably faster the second time around, which is something I really appreciate. Now a friend of mine just moved into a new place, and Iโm actually thinking about buying another one as a housewarming gift for her.
