Everything Summer Camp Dog Bed Canopy with Adapter - Fits Large Size Coolaroo and Amazon Basics Pet Beds (Bed Sold Separately)

Very happy with this canopy!! We have the large coolaroo bed which our dogs were very skeptical of at first, it took about a week for them to warm up to it and I had to cover it with blankets to get them to try it. When I moved it outside and got the canopy for it, I was very concerned it might make them scared of it all over again, for the first day they didn’t try it but as soon as the sun came out on day 2 our German Shepherd climbed right up like it was no big deal. He seems to lay on it now even more than he used to. I would definitely get it again. It wasn’t very hard to install and has held up in a recent wind storm. 5 stars!! (I tried to get pics of our Shepherd using it, but he always jumps up to play when I go out to the yard. So my pics are through the window. Hope they are still helpful.)

It was a bit difficult to attach the pole sockets to the bed frame. But once done the bed and canopy work fine. The quality of materials and workmanship are good. And our dogs took to it quickly and naturally. Always nice to see them sleeping peacefully in the shade on our deck.

I loved the design of the dog bed canopy and that it had a bracket to make it fit my large collaroo dog bed. The metal hardware was strong and fit perfectly. However, the poles were flimsy and a few of them snapped. The actual canopy was pretty thin and the pockets that the poles thread through ripped off in places. The pockets close to the cord that fits under the leg of the bed was made of much heavier black material and held up well although the instructions would have been better if they explained to thread through that too. I didn’t realize that was also an open path for the poles on my first try. User error I know but better instructions would have helped. I got the canopy on but it is kind of lopsided now. It does the job and my 63lb golden retriever mix fits under it nicely. I would have paid twice as much for a heavier duty canvas canopy with regular tent poles. If you purchase this canopy put it together very carefully! I am going to see how it holds up over the summer and maybe try again next year. I wish coolaroo made a canopy specifically for their bed! Customer service reached out to me and was more than generous with their resolution of my issues. They also said they would take a look at some suggestions that I made. I was very pleased in my dealings with the company and my dog is in the shade even though the bed canopy is a little worse from my installation! I raised my review to 4 stars because of the stellar follow up by the company!

Bought two of these. The first one ripped at the center. The bungy cord on the second one pulled out first time I put it on. In general, the sewing is sub-par and the fabric is very thin. Disappointing since the Koolaroo dog bed is very sturdy.

Fits the Coolaroo pet bed perfectly. Our dog loves it. Great for keeping the sun off the dog when outside. Sturdy, easy to assemble onto pet bed. Recommend this for sunny days outside to keep the dog cool.

Easy to assemble but does not cover my dogs from the sun. I would never buy this again.

This canopy in this review is being used on the Amazon basics elevated bed. I received this in May 29th, it’s now June 26th and my dog has used this on his Amazon basics elevated bed 3 times during that time period. The bed and the canopy are never left out overnight and always brought inside if there is a chance of rain…this canopy was being stored separately from the bed, but they were both stored in our mudroom-the bed has been stored in there for two years now w/o rusting and the canopy was in there for a month and it’s already rusting. The bolts that come on the Amazon basics elevated bed are not long enough to fit once the canopy hardware was added so my husband found some longer bolts-it sounds like from reading the other reviews that this is an issue exclusively with the Amazon basics bed, but the canopy does fit the Amazon basics bed very well, once we found some longer bolts. Unfortunately, my husband didn’t get rust resistant bolts-but I don’t think that the bolts caused the canopy hardware to rust like shown in the photo. The only other issue that I have with this canopy is that the poles don’t stay together when you’re moving the canopy around to put the other poles in it, so it’s really helpful to have a second person to help keep the poles in place/connected and to have someone help to put the canopy into the pole holders…it can be done alone, but it’s helpful to have an extra set of hands to keep it all together. After my dog overcame his anxiety about the canopy, he became a big fan of having a cool and shady spot to hang while my husband and I do yard work outside. I love the idea of this, I wish that it hadn’t started to rust so quickly though.

My granddog loves his new shaded- off the ground bed. Perfect for a dog who will need a soft place to lay while in the backyard. Very easy to attach the poles to the canopy. Slip each pole into the designated holes. So easy to assemble.

Easy to assemble and dismantle. Bought separately from our dog platform bed but fits frame perfectly!
