Heat until boiling, once it boils put in 1 1/2 cups of milk. Let it come to a boil and reduce flame to low, simmer for about 5 minutes. This is exactly what I would serve you in my house . If your looking for more of a "masala" flavor then you can buy "chai masala" not garam masala. Chai masala and all the other ingredients I listed can be found at your local Indian grocer. Just type " Indian grocery near me" into Google.
