The problem with ketone test strips is you never really know when they go bad, and you are left guessing if the strips are accurate or expired. With this test solution I now know, with 100% certainty, if the ketone strips are accurate or not before I test myself. I love having this knowledge and confidence. I tested the strips with the solution and the test solution says the strips are reactive for ketones but my urine shows negative, so I now know I have to tweak my diet to get back into kerosis. The package insert alone is worth the price of this product. On one sheet, front and back, there’s info about the strips and the test solution. Very thorough. The fonts are kind of small (I’m guessing to fit all the info) but there is a ton of helpful education about the strips, solution, ketosis, and the ketogenic diet, which I found very helpful. So, between the 100 USA-made long strips (I like that they are extra long so I don’t get my fingers wet), test solution, package insert, eBook and the Nurse’s email support, this is the BESTdeal for ketone test strips! This is now my go-to product whenever I have to reorder. Just make sure to follow the directions for storage, etc. They're longer than ones that I've used from other manufacturers (which took me some getting used to, but now I love it). They're all cut into slightly different lengths and this makes it easier to grab them one at a time from the container. One thing about the Keto diet is that sometimes you aren't sure if you've bounced yourself out of Ketosis, as your strips might not be reacting to your urine. With this package, you get the test solution. It's a small bottle with a dropper tip that allows you to test your strips to make sure that they're still working. Test a strip with the solution, then use a different strip to test your urine. No more wondering. Bonus: These are less expensive than all of the options that I've found at any of the drug stores near my home.
