I've had no issues with the torch burning the tip or not igniting, it seems to be built to a good standard and is of a metallic construction - it feels nice in the hand and is weighty (in a good way). I like that you can turn the flame from one to two burners for extra heat and that the throw of the flame is perfect for smaller spaces. The torch provides good constant heat in all sorts of weather and I really can't complain about this tool at all. It lives in my toolbox and gets me out of trouble when I need a fair bit of heat. My thinking was a broader heat source would work faster than a single flame one, time will tell. It feels good to hold and use, and clicks on straight away, every time. It's made to a high standard, and enamel to a nice glossy finish. The only negative ( at the moment ) point is the lack of a safety catch for when you store it away after use, you don't want this to light accidentally.
