I don't think that I would use it in a bathroom. I don't think the cardboard would handle the dampness very well.

I am a size 7.5 would I need a medium, or a large?

I would get the large because the ones I purchased for my daughter are stretchy and she's a size 8. They appear that they would would fit someone who wears a 7.5, 8, or 8.5. Good luck, hope this helps.
