Review: 6 years as EDC, and going strong! - Look, I don’t normally write reviews. But when I realized next week will be 6 years that I’ve been carrying this knife, I just had to give it its due. It’s not perfect. In the beginning some of the tiny screws came loose. I easily solved this by adding some Loctite and I have never looked back. I use the drivers all the time and they very very rarely come off in my pocket and that may be my fault for not seating them all the way. I am still using the original bits. I abuse this thing all the time from removing caulk, cutting boxes, opening packages, securing screws, to scraping stickers and carving things. It stays pretty sharp but when it does get dull, it’s easy to sharpen. It’s very small and doesn’t open in my pocket. If this is an issue for you, adjust the screws when you add the Loctite and the problem is resolved. The size, function, convenience and quality of this knife are what makes it work for me. I paid $15 in 2019. I see it for $25 now and still think it’s worth it. I thought about giving this a 1 star review just so someone would read it. I hope this review helped you.
Review: Clever EDC - Great little EDC. Decent feel, although if you have extra large hands it may be difficult to get a good grip. Blade stays sharp enough and has held up well for 2 years with regular sharpening. Clip still functions. The real gem with this is the bit design. Magnets hold the bits in place, and keep them fairly secure. I’ve lost one over the 2 years I’ve been using this, but the beautiful thing is they are easily replaceable/interchangeable with any standard bit. Bottom line, it’s been my go-to carry for 2 years and has never disappointed.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Anyone have this knife and the Kershaw select fire? Which one do you like better and why? Thanks.**
A: I have both and I like this Shuffle better. My primary area of concern is backpack knife. I do a lot of hiking and backpacking so things need to have several purposes and be light and handy. The Shuffle fits everywhere. The Select Fire is just more of something that the Shuffle does for me. As far as fit and finish, the Select Fire had a wonky blade that took some grinding to make right and the magnet didn't hold the bits well. Uncoated bits seem to work better. The reach is pretty handy on the SF so it will make a great glove box/tackle box/tool box knife. The Shuffle is just better for my specific purpose. I've had the Shuffle over a year with zero failures, the SF a few weeks and I can't comment on durability yet. I will say the SF just doesn't feel right in my hand. Get both. What the hell. They are cheap.

**Q: Where was it made?**
A: China

**Q: Is it supposed to have a nub at the top (part of blade) when folded? Maybe to use your pointer to open the blade? Mines looks like a piece broke off.**
A: Mine has a circular "nub" on both sides of the blade so you can use your thumb to open it when closed. If you didn't have those on the blade then it would be difficult to open with one hand. Hope this helps

**Q: What is special about the “special edition??”**
A: Bottle opener is primary. Has phillips and flat drivers and has great texture for grip. Solid knife and pocket size. It's a Kershaw.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ok Little Blade.
*by H***R on October 9, 2022*

I have had this blade for two weeks and have already found some flaws with using it as an EDC. While I like the look of it and it feels well built for it's price, there are a few design flaws that make it hard for me to use. The first day I used the screwdriver feature and I think that it works great. Real sturdy and the bits don't fall out of the socket or of the storage since I've gotten it. The bottle opener works as intended. While the blade looks nice, I have found that the shape of it makes it hard for me to use as I normally use a knife. It's design lends itself to more delicate uses of a knife like scraping something than to cutting like cardboard or something like that. If the blade shape was more flat, it would work better for cutting IMO. The belt clip is very sturdy and hard to open enough to latch onto a jean pocket. Should loosen up if you intend to use it for EDC. The blade also seems to dull pretty quick and will need to be touched up often. It is a small knife and while it would work for some people as an EDC, I feel like I need to have a slightly longer blade and handle for more comfortable use. I will keep it around since it seems well built and has some cool features, but it won't be used as much as I thought it would.
