Thermal Grizzly TG Putty Advance - 30 Gram - Electrically Non-Conductive Thermal Putty for GPU Modding and Thermal Pad Replacement

I've applied it on my laptop , on the gpu vram and other components that had old thermal paste. This is performing well. It had liquid metal on cpu and thermal paste on gpu, I changed it both with phase changing PTM7950 . Now temps are a lot better, especially on cpu . The liquid metal went on the sides and on center it was dry. Acer Predator helios neo 4060 , i7 13650hx.

extremely good stuff but expensive i recomend the advanced if your card has weird pad sizes. its extremely good stuff however the issue you may face is slightly warmer memory. if your trying to get memory temps down go for pro however it may be a bit more of a harder putty and not compress as well which is why i went for the advanced. advanced its really soft and maintains a good thermal transfer is still able to be made up into balls but compresses extremely well and would recomend it for anyone that has a extreme hotspot difference of 20c or higher while replacing the current pads will drop that temp down you may see a increase on vram of about 10c example of what i started with temps. hitting about 85c with hot spot of 102c now im hitting 72c-75c and hot spot of 87c

It is really tricky to put the putty nicely where you want but.. finally i did it. And it feels much better in high load. The XG Mobile gpu is very happy now. !! Don't put too thick layers. Give it time to spread before final tighten

Good product, works well. A bit of a pain to apply. But worth it

This stuff was REALLY expensive and REALLY bloody hard to use... BUT it has solved my Xbox overheating issues, so I'm not complaining. Just be aware that for any fiddly jobs, it's just incredibly hard to manoeuvre it to where you want it because it sticks to everything but the board, and then falls apart in your gloves and even sticks to the spreaders. However, if you can overcome all the stress, it certainly did the job.

I used this when I opened up my Asus Zenbook duo and all the thermal putty/pads had dried up, was a bit difficult to use for the first time but you get the hang of it and it works really well. Would recommend 100% if your device requires it, works really well and my temps look great!

It's a lot softer than I am used to, however the packaging is the selling point for me. I'm not a fan of the syringes that most come in. This one is easy to use and comes with everything you need, however you could probably save some money with a cheaper putty and wouldn't notice much of a performance hit. Personally I will try TG basic next, before going back to my usual.

Great for replacing normal thermal pads and it is easy to spread on the components that need it. More efficient than thermal pads, the thickness of it is perfect.

Utilizzata per sostituire i pad termici di una 3080TI che necessitava di repaste del die, con risultati molto soddisfacenti. Ho scelto putty per caso, non avendo mai fatto prima questo tipo di lavori. Il primo utilizzo è stato un incubo in quanto maneggiare il prodotto non è per nulla facile e il risultato è stato pessimo (temperature della VRAM molto più alte dei pad originali). Immaginavo che il problema fosse l'applicazione errata, infatti riaprendo la scheda ho visto subito che la quantità di materiale utilizzata non era sufficiente, lasciando scoperta parte della superficie dei componenti. Come consigliato da un altro utente, se non siete esperti date un'occhiata al canale "snarksdomain" su YouTube, è molto utile per capire bene come applicare la pasta (non serve la precisione estrema mostrata nel video). Ho quindi rifatto il lavoro assicurandomi di coprire tutta la superficie con una quantità maggiore di pasta (i pad della mia VRAM sono spessi 2.25mm) e il risultato è ora molto buono, con temperature inferiori ai pad originali. Resta il fatto che maneggiare con precisione questa putty advance è molto difficile, in quanto tende ad attaccarsi alle mani (anche con guanti) e si allunga e deforma facilmente mentre la posate. Consiglio di maneggiarla con le palettine fornite nella confezione, assicurandovi che siano ben pulite. Non ho provato altre putty, quindi non posso fare confronti con altri modelli. A causa di queste difficoltà, ho deciso per la seconda applicazione di utilizzare la putty solo nelle VRAM e mettere pad termici tradizionali nei componenti più piccoli o dove l'accesso era difficoltoso.

Ich habe das Thermal Grizzly Putty für meine PowerColor Radeon RX 6800 XT Red Devil gekauft, um die etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Standard-Pads zu ersetzen. ​Anwendung: Das Auftragen anstelle von klassischen Pads ist genial. Man muss keine Angst haben, die falsche Dicke (1mm vs 1.5mm) zu wählen, was bei der 6800 XT oft dazu führt, dass der Kühler keinen richtigen Kontakt zum GPU-Core hat. Das Putty komprimiert sich perfekt und sorgt für optimalen Kontakt überall. ​Ergebnis: ​GPU Hotspot: Vorher ca. [100]°C -> Jetzt maximal [80-85]°C. ​Speichertemperatur (VRAM): Deutlich kühler. ​Lautstärke: Da die Karte nicht mehr thermisch am Limit läuft, bleiben die Lüfter viel ruhiger. ​Für High-End-Karten mit Hitzeproblemen beim Hotspot ist dieses Produkt absolut sein Geld wert. Würde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Works very well as suggested by the test at igor's lab and other websites. Perfectly adequate for a single application replacing all stock thermal pads (Legion 5 pro 2021). Temperatures are cool and stable and very happy with the purchase!
