I recently purchased the RGB Networks Super High Speed ADSL 2+ Cable Telephone Extension to solve a problem in my lounge. The telephone socket and power socket are on opposite sides of the room, quite far apart, and I needed a longer cable to connect my WiFi router properly. This cable turned out to be a perfect solution! It’s available in various lengths, and I opted for 5m, long enough to bridge the gap without any hassle. Does it really work "10 times faster than a standard cable" as claimed? Honestly, I have no idea - I didn’t run any scientific speed tests to compare it to the short cable that came with my router. What I can say is that it works reliably. My internet connection is stable, and the WiFi signal is stronger now that I’ve positioned the router in a more central spot. That’s what matters most to me. One of the best perks is how it’s helped me tidy up my setup. The cable is well-made and flexible enough to route neatly along the wall, keeping everything looking clean and organized - no more tangled mess or awkwardly stretched cords. I also appreciate the sturdy connectors; they plug in securely with a satisfying click, so I don’t worry about it coming loose. Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. Broke my sky cable. First reaction was panic as trying to find a replacement from sky was difficult. Once I calmed down and went onto Amazon I found this cable. Much better than the original and with loads more length which means I can move my router to a different position. Well worth the money and the next day delivery meant I was only a day without wi fi. Perfect....

Engineer came out to check my internet and recommended to stop using this wire and get a better quality wire instead and showed me that its losing me at least 3Mbps, so I don't understand all these reviews saying its improving speeds as it clearly isn't. Naturally the longer the wire the more loss but to be told its poor quality as well for almost £10 is ridiculous.

This was needed as the original cable for the Broadband hub was not long enough. It works well with no appreciable drop in speed.

cable qui présente bien. J'ai remplacé mon cable "orange" bas de gamme par ce cable en espérant gagner un peu de débit. Au DTI j'ai 6,8Mb/s puis à ma RJ45 connectée par un cable cat 5 d'environ 10m au DTI (perte en ligne de 0,9 Mb ... et encore j'ai refait les connexions sinon j'étais à 2Mb), je suis resté à 5,9Mb en reception et 0,8 en emission. Donc 0 changement. Pourtant j'espérais gagner un tout petit peu, puisque la perte majeure est sur mon installation faite par un pro, parait-il ... Pas vraiment utile donc

Très honnêtement j'étais à 2'2mb et en branchant le câble je suis passé à 1,8mb Donc c'est pas ce qui est annoncé donc mensonge, je me recherche un vrai rj11 haut débit et je regrette mon achat.
