Distance
The ball hit as advertised. I had great drives but I switched to a regular ball for close shots. It did seem heavier when making contact but the distance was out there! They were cool to try out but I’ll probably continue using a legal ball.

Longer distance is NOT a myth!
Bandit balls travel further, not kidding. I don't have a super fast swing, so I need help, and since I'm not playing in PGA tournaments, I'm not worried about getting called out. My friends think I'm silly, but I've hit other brand name balls, and I guess I get about 15-30 yards further with these balls. Think that doesn't matter? Would you prefer a 150 yard second shot, or 180 yard second shot? I dinged them one star because it seems like they have gone up a fair amount in price in the past few years. Other than that, buy a dozen, and start smacking the ball further. Your best ball partners will appreciate it.

Too good to be true….
I hit these on a simulator, in my backyard (12 acres) and in two rounds. The ball didn’t surpass simple gold balls in my bag. It was outperformed consistently by a Bridgestone ball, my Warbird, and a few different Titleist balls. Waste of money.

They give you more distance
They do give you more distance off the tee and in the fairway when approaching the green. They also seem to have less spin and that makes the ball go straighter. However they feel like a rock when you are chipping around the green. The hard cover also takes a bad beating if the ball hits the cart path.

They were advertised for distance and this was not true.
I wanted to get more distance while playing golf and this didn't happen even though they were advertised for more distance and banned by the PGA because of this. No significant gain in distance, although adequate in all other respects. Not worth the extra money as many more inexpensive balls go just as far. Not worth the price.
