It should last. The inside pocket material is more plastic-like than cloth-like; I can imagine one of my tools tearing it. The reviewer who mentioned saddle bags is correct. See the attached image. The light square in the middle is a drink coaster. The Velcro holding both sides together was almost a deal-breaker for me. As you can see in the second photo, I ended up cutting this bag in half.
